We had a light and spacious room with a private bathroom accessed through the corridor. It's nothing luxurious, but it's homey and comfortable which is certainly what we look for in a place to stay.
Everything was clean and in good working order. Upon arrival, Liviana showed us the kitchen and communal area, and left us some much appreciated Nespresso pods for morning coffee. Breakfast is a make-your-own affair with bread, pastries and spreads left out for all the guests to share. The kitchen is well-equipped for making meals so we also stayed in for dinner one evening.
Great location with the Colosseum a 10-minute walk away. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and Liviana was happy to recommend the best for a hearty Italian meal.
We really enjoyed the freedom here which you don't get at a hotel. Throughout our 3-day stay we felt like locals with a key to our own apartment and a kitchen which gave us a good reason to stock up at the local supermarket.
