Refined rooms decorated in antique style and with modern bathrooms. Friendly staff and perfect location in "old Rome" with walking distance to the Vatican, Fontana di Trevi, Colosseum, Forum Romanum etc. We highly recommend it!

This was our first time to Rome and was just myself and my 12yr old son. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice, but basic and the hotel itself is very charming. The room was cozy but completely adequate and beautifully decorated, along with the rest of the hotel. The rooftop terrace has beautiful views of Rome. The location on top of this is absolutely perfect, being an easy walk to everything. We walked to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps etc and from the Vatican at night and everywhere we walked felt quite safe. It's a great base for your Rome Holiday. I would definitely stay there again when I return to Rome.

Dear guest,
Coming from such a distant country like Australia with another life style and with a 12 yr old son and finding yourself happy and satisfied with us is a compliment which is hard to receive in general. The words, “Perfect Rome Location & Great Hotel” concentrate on the fact that all the monuments are all within walking distance. Not only can one see the monuments that are considered of “World Heritage” but such as Largo Argentina, one lives the site where one of the most important and famous people in human history was assassinated and which is Julius Caesar. There is no one in the world after a certain age that hasn’t heard of or doesn’t know who he is and you are able to see exactly where he walked and was assassinated. Real unforgettable moments which turn a vacation into a history lesson and enrich the soul.
“The room was cozy but completely adequate and beautifully decorated” fulfills the expectations of our guests coming to a Boutique hotel and makes you feel at home and relaxed. Our staff suggesting routes and where to dine to be able to appreciate the real Italian Roman cooking closes the 360° circle of a vacation. The icing on the cake is being able to satisfy as we did also a 12 year olds needs and wants. This is a real compliment. Hope to see you once again with us to continue your Roman experience.
Happy Holidays,
F. Severino

The front desk was very friendly and entertaining, helped us get directions to various tourist attractions good location, near everywhere, but it's easy to get lost! But if you do get an apartment, be prepared to climb stairs as it is not at the main hotel front desk location. Rooms very nicely decorated! Though one thing to point out was that the heater was somewhat inadequte to keep us warm being in only the living area, and not the the single bedroom and toilet.

Room Tip: Choose one in the main hotel building-there's a lift!

Dear Guest,

the review seems to be excellent according to your rates as well as after reading “Great experience”.

However I would like to clarify something about your remarks about the lift as well as the heating system.

The apartment where you stayed dates back to XV century and it has been built over the ruins of the theatre of Pompeo, a leading place of the Romans as all the assemblies of the Senate took place there, but it is world famous because Julius Caesar was assassinated there on March 15th, 44 B.C.
Although the apartment is located in an historical area, we have updated it with all modern comforts such as satellite TV and free WI-FI, maintaining at the same time the ambience which brings you back to the past.
As a matter of fact in your bedroom, you can still touch parts of the ruins of the Theatre.

For this reason there is no elevator, as in most of the houses located in the historical centre of Rome, therefore when you arrived we took care of your suitcases carrying them up to the first floor where the apartment you stayed is located.

Regarding the heater, the apartment is provided with a remote control and instructions to use it in both rooms. We would have come to explain immediately if it was not clear for you and if you would have let us know.
In addition we provide spare blankets in all the apartments as well.

Having said this, we are pleased to learn that our suggestions contributed to make you discover the hidden part of Rome, because we believe that you need someone who takes you by hand and accompanies you to catch the secrets of the Eternal City in order to turn your stay into a “Great Experience”.

Looking forward to see you again

Warm Regards

Welcome to Rome! This is a quaint boutique hotel with the best location and staff. The rooms are romantic, cozy and Romanesque. We slept with the window open to smell the bread cooking, and the pomodoro sauce slowly cooking...the best sleep of my life. And within walking distance to everything, and the roof top terrace is beyond words....we will be back, for sure! And than you everyone for taking such good care od me and my Mom!

You cannot stay in a better location than the Campo De' Fiori when in Rome - a bustling little piazza in the middle of it all. The rooms are historic vintage Rome - you feel like you are going back in time 300 years - gorgeous. And the open air roof top deck affords you amazing 360 degree views of the entire city. You can walk to absolutely everything in Rome from this Hotel - the Pantheon, Coliseum, Roman Forum and the shopping districts. All of this is enhanced by the Hotel CDF's amazing staff of people who are fun, funny, caring and helpful. They were simply the best hotel staff I have ever encountered - on top of arranging transportation, they even went so far as to help me question and negotiate my Hertz car rental bill that I thought was wrong - they called on my behalf and resolved the issue in less than 10 minutes - given my limited comprehension and ability to speak Italian, this likely saved me a full day's headache. Lovely hotel and even lovelier people. I will definitely return to Rome and I will definitely stay at Hotel Campo De' Fiori.

Dear guest,

“Perfect Hotel, location, rooms and staff”,

Your excellent review praise us to have successfully achieved our commitment. You have highlighted 3 major points which we consider vital: location, rooms and staff.
As you experienced Campo de’ fiori is in the heart of Rome where all Roman activities are concentrated and you are enabled to be part of it.
The hotel with all the detailed decorations is aimed to let you experience a trip through the history, the first impact is looking to our inscription above the elevator which dates back 1753, when the Hotel has been completed. At the same time we offer you all the comforts you look for in an holiday such modern bathrooms and free WI-FI.
Also, we think that the staff has a leading role giving you the essential tools to discover the hidden treasures of the Eternal City, because walking through Rome is a real trip but you need someone who accompanies you.
Our commitment is constantly to provide the highest standards aiming to go beyond our guests ‘ expectations: the staff is the magic touch of your holiday.

We look forward to welcome you again

Warm regards

My husband and I stay at Hotel Campo De' Fiori for our honeymoon last month, it was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our stay in Italy. The location was amazing with the hustle and bustle of the Campo just outside (but without the noise in our room like with some other hotels in a busy area), it was the most romantic hotel and perfect for the start of our honeymoon. The views from the gorgeous rooftop terrace were amazing and we could see the whole of Rome stretched out for miles. We enjoyed a fantastic buffet breakfast in the quaint breakfast room downstairs each morning.

Not only was the hotel itself great, but the staff were astounding! They made the stay extra special. Valentina, Andrea(s) and the crew were very attentive and helped us out a lot during our stay. My husbands bags were lost by the airline and the staff not only constantly called the airline to follow up but also assisted with getting my husband's medication from a nearby pharmacy and Valentina personally walked us there and explained our situation to the ladies behind the counter. What truly wonderful and beautiful people they were! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to everyone I know.

Dear guest,

“Amazing staff and exceptional experience”

by saying these words you confirm our continuous efforts to make our guests’ satisfaction our priority.
Coming from Australia for your honeymoon, the waiting of this trip has been full of dreams and expectations and once here you entirely entrusted us conveying you emotions which will remain impressed in your mind as coming to Rome is the real trip but we strongly think that you need someone who take you by hand guiding you to discover its secrets.
Our refined rooms, some of them with canopy beds, aim to create the private and charming atmosphere which reach its peak with the extraordinary view of our rooftop terrace.
Nevertheless we are aware that the staff has a fundamental part for the outcome of your trip, this is why we are always focussed on the details which contributed to make your honeymoon an exceptional experience.
When you say “the nicest hotel we stayed during our stay” , we have the boost to keep offering an excellent customer service because when you chose to come to the Eternal City, you had to choose the hotel to raise to the occasion.

We look forward to welcome you again

Best Regards

My husband, daughter and I chose Campo De'Fiori based on its location and triple room, and I'm pleased to say it delivered on all counts. Unlike most European hotels, the triple room actually featured a standalone single bed as opposed to a roll-out sofa. The room itself was a bit small but beautifully appointed, and the rooftop garden afforded one of the best views in Rome. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and the breakfasts buffet included all the essentials (most importantly a decent espresso!). The neighbouring square boasts a regular market, and most famous landmarks (Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican) are well within walking distance. Highly recommended - we will definitely be back!

Thank you to our dear guest from London for defining us “the perfect hotel”!

Reading your review it seems you are a frequent traveler, so you may understand that the room size is in line with the European standards, but also with the Boutique Hotels standards. Moreover it has to be adequate to the character of the hotel ancient building - whose grounds date back to the Middle Age – without altering its original structure.

All this having been said, I would like to thank you for your appreciations regarding the service you received: from the room furnishing, to the quality of the breakfast – and the quality of the real Italian espresso ! – to our helpful and competent staff.

Staying at the Hotel Campo de’ Fiori means to heighten one’s own sense of being. The refined atmosphere and the attentive staff contrive to suggest to all our guests that they are for that moment uniquely priviledged.

All this won’t be possible without this magical setting: Rome, the Eternal City.

All the best
