“great start to our vacation.”
Reviewed 15 October 2012

This hotel was really perfect. It is located in a great location and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooftop terrace was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day and just looking out over Rome. We actually stayed in one of the detached apartments and it was a great choice. It was spacious and located very, very close by. We also used their airport pickup service for 55 Euros and it was a great choice. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

We started staying at Campo de' Fiori in 1994 which would mean before they remodeled and installed the elevator. Even when we had to 'thunk-thunk' our bags up the stairs it was worth every step! The rooms are great, the staff is terrific, location can't be beat, but we LOVE the rooftop patio. From this wonderful spot you can enjoy a 360* view of Rome. Go to their web site to see all the great views. Our favorite rooms are on the top floor w/the little balconies that overlook the city.

Our last trip was just this Sept. As it turned out we would be missing a high school reunion. When regrets were sent my husband mentioned that we would be on a trip to Italy. We soon got emails from 3 high school friends saying they were there at the same time. We had a lovely 'reunion' dinner right on the square and then headed to the roof w/a bottle of wine. We stayed up too late getting caught up, but it was such a treat to sit out there in the wonderful Sept weather and soak up the evening. When our friends wrote to thank us they all mentioned the rooftop as one of the highlights of the trip.

If you are headed to Rome THINK CAMPO DE' FIORI:)

Room Tip: Top floor has great balconies!

We love central, not-overpriced hotels with personality and great service. Hotel Campo De Fiori wins on all counts! My only hesitation in writing the deservedly glowing review is that I hope we'll be able to afford this hotel next time we stay. Regardless, staying there again is an absolute must. We will definitely return. In fact, Hotel Campo De Fiori is a driving factor in making return plans to Rome. Something that gets me through busy days at work is remembering high quality times spent drinking wine on that incredible roof. Don't hesitate! Book now!

We (family of 5, with kids 11, 13 and 15) stayed in one of the apartments for 4 days and then a different apartment for one night a week later in July 2012. Both were clean and spacious with great locations. The first overlooked the Campo De' Fiori and it was great just to sit and watch the activity. Also loved sitting on the rooftop patio at the hotel. The staff was great.

We stayed at the hotel in September and really loved it. The room was on the sixth floor and our door opened a few feet from the great roof top patio. We saw some great sunsets and sunrises from it. Our room was all in Red with great furniture including a very nice bed!! There is a elevator that will take you to the fifth floor and then a short walk up the stairs. The two best things about this hotel is the location and the customer service!! The location is within walking distance of many famous places in Rome; Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and St.Peters to name a few. We walked to all of those. Of course it is right there at the Campo De Fiori, which was great for a morning cup of expresso and people watching ( all day) and to stop at night for a cocktail before going to bed!! The market opens early with many vendors selling produce, wines, pasta and some . later in the day the vendors take down their stands and at night it becomes a great area to socialize. The customer service is remarkable!! It starts before you even get there. On their Facebook page they are always making suggestions as to places to visit, setting up tours, shops and restaurants. The staff is really amazing, Matteo, Valentina and all the rest are so helpful and courteous it would make staying at a different hotel pretty much out of the question during any future trips. They will answer all your questions fully , make great recommendations and all with a smile !!!!Stay at the Campo De Fiori Roma if your looking for a great room, location and a helpful staff. If your not looking for that, why are you traveling to Italy !!!!

Room Tip: The Red Room is wonderful but you do need to walk up a short set of stairs. The staff will help you...

We chose to stay at Campo de Fiori for our honeymoon due to the glowing reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. After making our booking i recieved a phone call offering us a free up grade. Upon arrival we found the staff to be very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is beautifull with a great rooftop terrace which is lovely place to hang out with a bottle of wine at the end of a night. The area is perfect with lots of great restuarants and bars only a few steps from the hotel, most of the great sights of Rome are also within walking distance. The breakfast is plentifull and good quality. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome, perfect hotel in every way!
