If I could, I'd go back in a heartbeat! We stayed at the beginning of October and I cannot express what a delightful hotel, this is. The staff was extremely helpful (Matteo...what else can be said?), offering guidance, suggestions and laughter! The breakfast was GREAT (what do they do to make those scrambled eggs so good and how do they keep that delightful woman so delightful?), filling anf flavorful. The location, though, may be the best. Everything one could possibly want to see of the major attractions was within walking distance. As others have also noted, the rooftop terrace was divine! Thank you!

Room Tip: Remember that sound does travel. If you don't care for lively banter after dark, do not book a...

I can just echo what others have said, the location was very convenient. The staff very helpful with good suggestions for restaurants (shame they couldn't do anything about the broken lift), but the breakfast was terrible. The food offered was very poor, dry and tasteless and the coffee was unbelievably bad. However, there were good alternatives nearby. Our rooms were OK but could have been more thoughtfully decorated - yes the building is traditional and so the windows are small, but they should have taken a bit more care to decorate with brighter colours or use stronger light bulbs.

So it was fine, but we woudl not return.

Room Tip: Probably avoid the higher floors - there is no more light and if, as this weekend, the lift breaks d...

Dear Guest,
“The breakfast was terrible”: 90% of our guests were always surprised about noticing the high quality of intercontinental buffet able to please any kind of people from all over the world, with its great selection of foods including pies, cookies, juices, yogurts, cheese, milk, fruits, vegetable, bread, ham, salami. Not to miss our uniquely Italian espresso and cappuccino.
Our rooms could have been more thoughtfully decorated: if you were not able to notice the loads of ornaments and decorations characterizing all our rooms, it means that probably you did not even stay with us. The elegant and romantic atmosphere conveyed by our Baroque building should have deserved a much better rating than just 3 out of 5 stars.
To look is not to see.
Warm regards
F. Severino

Rarely motivated to write a review but this hotel is excellent and worth the money.
Location cannot be bettered, within walking distance of all major sites and more
Local piazza fun any time of day
Rooms lovely, great mattress and fab bathroom
Upstairs terrace is a great place to unwind after the heat of the day never mind the views
All staff helpful and friendly.
We will come back to Rome, so much more still to see and will book here again.

We had no disappointments here. Staff were very good, rooms was great, breakfast good, location excellent and they have a delightful roof top terrace. I was traveling with my 16 year old daughter and we both loved our 3 night stay here. We definately recommend this hotel.

I stayed here last night and loved it; except that I enjoyed the hotel so much it made me miss a few sights in Rome (!) so I could instead relax on the hotel terrace and watch the sunset.

The lobby, terrace and rooms are warm and inviting. The staff was wonderful (well, with one exception) - so much so that we exchanged information and plan to keep in touch. The location is A+. I had plans with two sets of friends in Rome yesterday, and both times we met up at Campo De' Fiori on their suggestion, not even knowing I was staying there. The hotel is also walking distance to all the main sites in Rome.

I can't wait to return. Being at the hotel felt like my true home away from home.

We come to Rome often but this is the first time we have had the joy of staying at this hotel! It will be where we stay from now on! When we arrived we actually drove in ( bad idea) at the end of a 10 day trip. We arrived in the middle of market Day as well as something else going on in the Piazza. Totally nuts and we could not find our way around in the crowds of people. We called the hotel and one of their workers told us to stay put and he would come and rescue us! He jumped in our back seat and guided us to a nearby parking garage, helped us drag our luggage from there, and even took care of a potential ticket for being in the Piazza in our car!

The room was beautiful! Seriously the nicest hotel room I have stayed in Rome. Beautiful crystal chandelier over the bed, flat screen TV hidden in an ornate frame, and an incredible modern bathroom! The linens were soft and luxurious as well as the towels and that is a rare find in Italy! The very best part of this hotel is the rooftop terrace! You can bring a bottle of wine with you and sit there for hours. Lots of seating in comfortable groupings all over the terrace. The views are spectacular!

The breakfast is served downstairs and is also not your typical european breakfast! Lots of fresh fruit, breads, meats and cheeses, but also eggs! They will also bring you your coffee how you like it.

There is not one negative I could find in this charming boutique hotel located in the charming Piazza Farnese in the historic district of Rome. Wonderful over the top service and charm in a perfect location!

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the Piazza with two big windows and it was not even noisy. Very good soundproofi...

My wife and I shared a few days of our honeymoon at Hotel Campo De' Fiori and I must say it exceed our expecations. The staff is incredible and extremely helpful with everything from recommending great things to do in Rome to arranging a car service to get you to the airport. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They are not overly big by any means, but one thing I have learned in Italy is a comfortable bed is hard to come by in most hotels. This one had the best mattress out of the five hotels we stayed in. The location is fantastic, the market that is just outside the hotel was one of the better sights to see, and shop. Don't spend a week looking at thousands of reviews and trying to analize over every detail. Stop and book this hotel, you will be happy you did.

A big thank you to the hotel as they suprised us with a nice bottle of champagne and snacks in our room for our honeymoon. We took it onto the terrace and had a heck of a time. As I mentioned before, we stayed in five hotels during our two week adventure all over Italy and this hotel was our favorite...
