the hotel is a wonderful little boutique hotel, with a large market beneath it.
our room was pretty small, but I guess this is the average size of most rooms in hotels within large cities. it was very clean, actually one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in.
the room is beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfortable and a real double bed (not 2 single beds).
the roof terrace was beyond all expectations! it has 360 degrees of views of the city, and wonderful siting places. A perfect place to enjoy the sun set and sun rise and to photograph.

Room Tip: rooms at higher floors are better because they are naturally more quiet.

As i have writen in my previous rewiew: very cosy, calm and nice. Best place, best service, best rooms. The rooms are not big but very cosy and beautyful. No noise comes from outside although we had a view to the piazza. And very good breakfast.

Our favorite place in all of Rome. It's been a couple of years since our traveling has afforded a stop in Rome. When our sister-in-law wanted to travel Italy with us it was the best reason we could think to return to this lovely hotel. We stayed in the apartments again on this trip and were greeted with friendly and helpful staff. After enjoying wine on the roof top retreat we were escorted to our apartments where our luggage was already waiting for us. As before the hotel's recommendations and assistance in booking tours, transportation and restaurants did not fail. After meeting up with friends later in our travel we recommended and help them book with the hotel and received prompt responses regarding the last minute booking. Thanks for another great stay. Can't wait to visit again. Would recommend for families with or without kids. The apartments have great spaces for eating in and the shops and daily open air market makes it easy to live like a local. Couples will love the upscale luxury and high end service combined with the right amount of privacy.

This is really a lovely little hotel steps from all the activity at Campo de Fiori. It is super conveniently located, 2 blocks from the Tiber, the same from Piazza Navona, about 3 blocks from the Jewish Ghetto, about 4 blocks from Piazza Venezia. In other words, it's right in the middle of everything. There are lots of restaurants within short walking distance and several great gelato shops around the corner. The daily market at Campo De Fiori is also right at hand. Our room was clean and up to date with a new bathroom. The star of this hotel has to be the rooftop garden. It's large and uniquely provides 360 degree views of Rome. Guests migrate up there for a glass of wine as the sun sets. Also a nice place to read a book if you want a break from activity during the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The one thing you need to be aware of is that the rooms - at least our room - are very small, as was the bed. The room was about 8 x 12 feet and the bed was something smaller than a US Queen. The room had a small desk and desk chair. Obviously no room for a sofa or lounge chair. The bathroom was also little. 2 x2 ft shower, single sink. We've traveled extensively and are used to small hotel rooms in big cities. But this was much smaller than normal. I don't raise this as a negative. Just something to be aware of. All in all, highly recommend this hotel.

Dear Garry,

I welcome your honest review, which rightly highlights our strengths, our enviable and so convenient location, our peerless terrace with 360° degree view of our eternal city and our tailored and empathic service. I am however saddened by the fact that the size of your room influenced your overall score being 4 and not 5. As a matter of fact our building that dates back to the 12th century cannot be hugely modified and its walls cannot be moved to make room for more spacious areas. However, our rooms still respect EU laws when it comes to their size. Moreover, we also offer deluxe and top floor rooms, which are definitely bigger than the classic ones and those rooms are available only when reserving directly, either on our official website or through email.

Hence let me encourage all our readers to check out only our official website to discover which room suits you best as well as to contact my empathic staff in advance so as to organize your trip in our intriguing eternal city from reserving pick-ups from and to the airport, booking guided tours to the main spots, which allow you to skip all the long and stressful lines or to have any other request fulfilled.

You can observe a lot by watching.

Warmest regards,
The Manager

We stayed here from a Monday to Friday in early October. Overall, I would say it is an excellent hotel in a wonderful location.
The roof terrace is simply stunning and there is the option of drinks service to the roof or you can bring your own alcohol - they are very accommodating.

Location:
You cant beat the location. Just off the Campo di Fiori, in a beautiful piazza. It's right in the heart of Rome and we'll linked to Trastavere (where the nightlife is).

Room:
We stayed in a deluxe room. If was small, but beautifully furnished. The room has two windows looking out onto the Piazza. Slight noise from the Campo did not bother me but may bother others or those who go to bed early. The room had two single beds, which were joined to make a double. This was a bit of a dissapointment. Overall, the room was extremely clean, beautifully traditionally decorated, and very comfortable.

Breakfast:
Breakfast was very very mediocre. Standard selection of continental breakfast items, but the eggs were always overcooked and horrible. The coffee however was great and the room itself is cute, and the service very friendly.

Service:
The hotel staff were superb. Extremely friendly and helpful. Very happy to book whatever you need, and make reservations at some of the more difficult resturants to get into.

Value:
We paid about 650EUR for 4 nights. This was good value, if a bit expensive for the room size.

Dear Jacob,

I am grateful to learn that you have appreciated our unbeatable location in the heart of the Historical centre of our Eternal City and the breathtaking view from our rooftop terrace.

Our building, which the ground and the first floor are millennial, emphasizes the real medieval Roman atmosphere as you rightly pointed out, and as to preserve its original beauty, there is no way we can amplify the walls or enlarge the windows, though our rooms fully respect the European standards in terms of their size.

I am also disappointed you didn’t appreciate as much our intercontinental buffet breakfast, which offers a great selection of cold and warm foods as well as the Italian espresso and cappuccino and that almost anything can be personalized to satisfy any special request. Our breakfast is also highly appreciated by other 99% of our guests as pointed out in almost all other reviews. Notwithstanding, your feedback has been passed onto our kitchen with the aim of improving our service futher.

I encourage all the readers to have a look at our website to discover offers about our rooms and to contact our staff in advance, since they are specialist in reserving pick-ups from and to the airport and to book guided tours to the main spots, so as to skip all the long and stressful lines.

Travel teaches how to see.

Warmest regards,
The Manager
