We stayed 3 nights in room 27#. The hotel was clean. The room was very quiet. The AC seemed a bit underpowered however. The room was small but normal for an Italian small hotel room. Bathroom was a good size and very clean and well maintained. They were able to check us in before noon which was a plus after a 10 hour flight. Our only complaint, which is trivial, but enough to disrupt us the first day. Some cleaner that was used had an overpowering smell that caused us to have to keep the window open the first day. Sounds like not a big deal but enough to have us having some kind of allergic reaction to it. But overall, good hotel; breakfast was very good, location was near ancient part of town, walk to Collosseum. The staff was very good and Sarah was the bright spot of the staff, always with a smile, very friendly and helpful.

Hotel very welcoming staff, room ready for early check in at 12. We had a family room which had an upstairs for the girls, room small but clean and everything we needed. Disappointed that our bed was a sofa bed rather than a double, but as only staying for 3 nights put up with it. Room request to be away from side road was honoured, we overlooked a lovely garden area that made you feel you were miles from the city, very quiet. Breakfast was ok, enough for our needs and staff very helpful. We asked for a late check out which cost us 110 euros bit over the top for an extra 6 hours but made it possible to enjoy last day in sun and shower before taxi to airport. Hotel arranged taxi, 50 euro to Fco. Beware of tax charge on your stay. The quiet location does mean a lot of walking to see the sights, which in heat can be draining so next time may move more towards city centre but overall would recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a great location, and is a good base. You can walk to lots of places, or else it's near major bus routes if you want to save your feet. Our room was clean and functional, we had a ground floor room at the back with large doors out to the lawn.

Breakfast was adequate, but not brilliant so one star knocked off for that. We didn't eat or drink here so I can't comment on that.

The reception were courteous and helpful so all in all I'd definitely recommend.

This hotel is an old monastery that has been recently renovated. The location is terrific - within walking distance to the Coliseum and the Forum. It is comfortable and modern.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street and you will see Roman ruins from your window. The street is narrow, so although there is traffic, it is fairly light and does not move quickly, so noise was not a problem.

This is so close to the heart of Rome that you can walk to everything. The hotel itself is a former convent with quiet peaceful gardens, fountains, citrus trees, hard to believe in the middle of a city. You can see the Palatine ruins from the front door! The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is pretty good but not exceptional when you consider this city is full of fine atmospheric trattoria's. My only reservation is the awful wireless Internet service, it drops out every few minutes, if not seconds and will drive you spare if you have something important to do. So if this is a business trip and you need to keep in touch or get work done then this may not be the place for you, otherwise it's great.
