We stayed as a family of 4 in this hotel for 3 nights in March whilst visiting Rome and attending the Six Nations Italy vs England rugby match. The fantastic spring weather obviously contributed but we were very impressed with the Kolbe. The location was great for sightseeing with the city within easy walking distance. We had a quad room overlooking the lovely garden which was large enough and well equipped. The bathroom was very clean and complementary toiletries and slippers were useful. The reception staff were very helpful and a great source of information for buses etc. The computers in the lobby were very useful and the free wifi was much appreciated by our two children. Breakfast was as expected and you were easily able to find something to your taste, we even had an orange straight from the trees in the garden. The only slight drawback is that there are few places to eat close by, not the Kolbes fault. We did find that travelling to the Trastevere area of Rome gave us a much larger selection of eateries and was only 20 mins walk or a short taxi ride away. We visited lots of places in our 4 days and slept well at this hotel. Overall would love to visit again, perhaps in 2 years when England are back in Rome......
