If you cannot walk up 102 steps with your luggage to check in, forget about this place.
It's interesting to see how a building can be used as retail, residential, business, and hotel. We stayed in the Daphne room. The room was clean. There was probably 25 sq meter of space. However, my husband and I felt like we were always in each other's way due to the poor layout. The bidet (not a desirable feature for us) took up 1/3 of the bathroom. The shower's water pressure was very weak.
The location is central; only 5 minutes of walk from the Spanish Steps and walkable to many tourist sites.
Check in is a pain as one has to arrange in advance to have a staff to be there. No staff is present at the front desk. We had a different person serving us breakfast everyday. No charming "Marco and Francesca" as our hosts.More
