Fancied a steak while walking through Cavour and saw this steakhouse which is poor food and drink with most expensive prices in Rome. Warning bells should have sounded when they said they only had the more expensive steaks left. Ordered a filet mignon, which was by weight but silly me, didn't realise they would put two steaks on the plate (despite the menu pic only showing one) The smallest weight turned out to be 400g and came to 27 EUR. The filet was butterflied for some reason, so meat is spread across the plate and isn't cooked well, the accompaniments were not great either. Add to this the scrambled egg and bacon fat (no meat) carbonara my wife and daughter had and expensive drinks, this is the worst kind of tourist trap and the only one we stumbled on while in Rome. They even have the cheek to include a 10% service charge as well as asking for a tip. Avoid at all costs!! There are so many better places in Rome!
