We stumbled upon this Enoteca near to the hotel we were staying in. There are very few tourists(we seemed to be the only ones!) but it is busy with locals which I think is always a good sign.

The offer an amazing cold buffet from 5.30--8.30pm for 10E which includes a drink.

The food is all home cooked lasagne, fritatta, couscous etc and also lots of cold meats and olives. This suited us perfectly as both visits we had had a large lunch so were just looking for something light but tasty.

We ate here twice as we found is so good.

Definately recommend it. If you are in to wine and beer the selection is amazing too.

When staying in Testaccio for four nights in July 2013, we came to Oasi della Birra a number of times for drinks before going out to dinner. Being British, there is always a certain draw of finding a good beer! The drinks selection was fantastic; easily over 100 beers for sale both in draught and bottled. The service was good and there was outdoor seating so you could sit out at the front under the covers should you want. In addition to the beers there was a very impressive wine selection as well.

Most customers were coming here for an aperitif before going out. We missed this on the first two times we popped in but made it on the final attempt. Good quality and good choice.

Highly recommended watering hole.

This place has one of the biggest beer menus in Rome -- sadly, the menu is somewhat deceptive. Quite a few of the beers on the menu are unavailable when you try to order them. Still, the selection of international beers is impressive.

The highlight of this place, however, is the generous aperitivi (snaks/small foods) available. Lots of different pastas, meat, bread, cheese, et cetera, at a very low price. Don't go here for a full dinner, but if you want to go somewhere for a beer/wine and a light (cold) meal, you could do much worse than this. I go here once or twice a month.

I have been to this place several times.
It has the feel and drink selection of a small enoteca.

I have mainly gone for drinks and the happy hour aperitivo.
Price is decent compare to other places and there is a variety of cold foods to choose from.

Each time I have gone there has been a selection of cheese, deli meats, frittata, cold pastas, ravioli, eggplant parm and similar Italian fare.

Staff is friendly and I've never had to wait too long to be seated.

I definitely think this place is a hallmark choice for casual drinks in Rome.
