Beautiful hotel in a lovely location of Rome. Food is wonderful and price relevant to the area, and great rooms.
Staff are helpful and really want to do what they can for you. I would recommend this place for families too.

We were in Rome for a wedding and as we stayed in a family room with our 2 young kids. A few initial teething problems on arrival but the staff worked hard to make it up to us. A surprise tent was setup in the room for the kids which they loved! Only downside was no children’s menu and I ended up paying 18euros every time I gave my 18 month old pasta (even when asking for a kids portion). Pool was beautiful and setting was perfect. Thanks to all the Melia staff for their excellent customer service.

8 minute easy walk to Vatican. Pool and grounds are amazing. We travel to Rome once per year and will definitely be back. We had a junior suite with a great master bath and shower room. Wifi was slow.

Very good service from arrival to departure apart from a couple of occasions.
- Cooked breakfast was slow to come to the table on one occasion and when it did arrive, it was disappointing. In the meantime the buffet selection was extensive and of great quality. Very fresh!
- The concierge service were not as we would have liked. One early evening it took several attempts to call and speak to someone in Concierge by telephone that was eventually answered but the long delay meant inconvenience to our evening plans.

The room facilities were good. The balcony with a hot tub was the highlight. The low light was the bathroom door that does not shut properly. The bed was comfortable but noise from the corridor could be heard through the entrance door in the early morning.

The location was great, a nice setting on top of a small hill by the river overlooking Rome and part of the Vatican. The hotel has two bars, which were both good overall. The pool area was very nice - clean and quiet. The gym was small with limited equipment and was not a particularly nice place to be - in the basement with nearly no natural light. Part of the stationary bike shoe strap fell apart when I attempted to ride it so I would guess not very well maintained so I did not revisit.
The Spa was excellent. A nice peaceful facility, great staff and a superb product.

Great staff, beautiful hotel facilities however our room was not cleaned very well before we checked in and it was located at the far end of the hotel which was very noisy, we were woken by ambulance sirens very half hour. I would stay again but ask for a room away from the road side of the hotel.
