“Excellent local restaurant”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

This is a restaurant frequented by local residents. The cuisine is all natural with produce purchased from local organic farms. Looking at the restaurant you might be tempted to by-pass it but don't. The food is wonderful, the owner charming, the service great. Meals are inexpensive, wine is very reasonable with superb choice by the owner. This restaurant is one block from the Marriott Courtyard Park Central. If you're staying there a visit is well worth your time.

“Great food!”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott and did not want to go to the city. Based on trip advisor reviews we decided to go. Not many tourist frequent this place, is a lot of locals. The owner speaks very little English but he very nice and welcoming. The cheese plate is amazing and the food is good. It has a lot of organic items, for the first time in my life I had an organic cola. It was a good experience. If you decide to stay close to the hotel, this is the place to go. It's about a five minute walk.

“Courtyard Marriott Rome Central Park option”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

with few dining options staying at the Courtyard Marriott we were pleased to see positive reviews of this restaurant on trip advisor. they led us to a cozy neighborhood restaurant and a solid dining experience. take advantage of the outside seating which is cozy but has a little bit of a romantic feel to it. the restaurant is not in a tourist area, but staff worked their semi-english skills to make us feel quite comfortable as we stumbled with our italian! we enjoyed appetizers and then pasta dishes as first plates and then moved to dessert. there was no weak spot with the food. the coconut cake dessert was especially pleasing! about a 10 minute walk from the courtyard marriott, giving an opportunity to walk off dessert.

“Good neighborhood restaurant”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

A block and a half from the Marriott Hotel, the Gaia.bio restaurant offers Pizza and pasta dishes from an extensive, inexpensive menu. Owned and operated by a perfectly English speaking former emplyee of Allitalia Airlines. Inside and covered patio seating is available. Modifications to pizza ingredients up to creating your own are happily accommodated. Our Salad, Pizza and wine satisfied us.

“Don't miss this if you are staying at courtyard Marriott”
Reviewed 21 May 2013 via mobile

We saved this little gem for our last night near Rome as we were staying at the courtyard Marriott and were looking something local. We saw good reviews on trip advisor and they were not misleading. Every course was perfect from the cheese with honey and variety of bruschetta for appetizers through main course and appetizer. The four of us each had a different main course nd dessert and every different item was delicious. The owner was so accommodating to our every want and his wife had the bet "smile". Don't miss this one when in Rome!
