I hope it doesn't loose it's authentic charm with so many rave reviews. We loved this walking / food tour of Trestevore evening tour. Our host was amazing (I forgot her name - but she left to start her own company in London). She was smart, welcoming - and she remembered everyone of our names!
We did this on our last night in Rome. We wish we had done it on our first night. Super Highly Recommend this event! Wonderful!!

Thank Larrybill

Did the Testaccio day tour with Alexandra and had a blast. Best aspect of the tour is that it is in a quiet part of Rome away from the crowds.
All the food is superb with ample portions and Alexandra answered all our questions. There's also little history stops which are cool.
Overall would be well worth the price for the food alone but the guided tour makes it a really fantastic way to spend some of your time in Rome.

Love, love, love this tour. We took the Twilight Trastevere Food Tour on May 2, 2014. I have been on several food tours in Chicago, Boston, & Honolulu, but this one was the best ever. Generous portions, and wine!!!! Anna Butterworth was our guide and she is so adorable, and very knowledgeable about the Trastevere area. I would go on this tour again!

Tried the Testaccio tour and loved it! It was one of the best experiences in rome so far! Douglas is a great guide, he will tell you insane stories about the neighbourhood, the protestant cemetery and give you the best tips on how to get real icecream and stone-oven pizza in rome.

Twilight Trestavere Tour in April led by Stefania was fantastic! The food ranged from pizza to gelato, prosecco to fine wines! The history lessons were great too! A must if you're in Rome. I didn't want this tour to end!
