We found this little gem whilst trying to escape the lunchtime hustle and bustle in the Piazza Navona. The two waiters were attentive and efficient and as a bonus provided us with endless entertainment as they employed various means to persuade passers by to dine at their establishment. The menu did not disappoint. Pizza, Caesars salad and several cold beers whilst sitting in the shade watching the world go by,

After doing all the touristy things in Rome we wandered down an alley of the main square & we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We enjoyed our pizza & washed down with some local beer. The 2 waiters were excellent.

Beginning of Feb , raining , few people about . We sat under the gas heaters . We were not very hungry so had 2-3 beers , a bottle of wine a plate of bruschetta each, just one ice cream and strawberries and one brandy with coffees .Cost 70 Euros !!!

Good to sit and watch life pass by at the quieter end of the piazza. Penne Prima Vera was good as was the Carbonara my daughter had. My wife enjoyed the pear and walnut salad where they exchanged blue cheese for mozzarella which added to the flavour. My other daughter thought her pizza was a bit soggy, too much tomato. Prices on the high side for food and water a rip off at 4.95€ for 75cl, wine also pricey, I suppose you have to expect this in such a tourist hot spot but overall a nice lunch.
