“Friendly hotel”
Reviewed 1 December 2013 via mobile

We are just home from a weekend trip to Rome. We spent two nights at the Hotel Lunetta. Well situated for all the sights.
The staff were wonderful and helpful and took great care.
A few things about the hotel which we didn't like : the classic double room had a bed which was not a double , about 4 ft wide only with about 18 inches of space around it. We felt like we were in a closet. This was disappointing as the hotel was expensive. We went to try out the pool in the spa : it looked lovely but it was not heated so we couldn't avail if it ( freezing outside so we went to the pool to try to warm up ).
All in all though this hotel was very fresh and clean. Fabulous location and it's best feature is it's staff.

From United States - Just came back from 5 nights at Hotel Lunetta with family (husband, 21 year old son, and 13 year old son). Can't say enough about this hotel. Rooms were tight squeeze as they all are in Rome but spotless!! Beds were good sized for 2 grown children to share. Conceirge desk was so helpful and friendly. LOCATION is perfect. Nice buffet breakfast. Highly recommend Hotel Lunetta!!

Room Tip: Suite on fourth floor for a family with 2 rooms, 2 beds, 2 showers, balcony, room dividing doors was...

Lovely Hotel with a nice staff but the hotel is popular with young Germans who drunkenly scream and yell in the hallways and outside the door of the hotel all night long. The staff will not deal with the noise and they provide no security at night. It is a shame nice property but poor management.

The place can be borderline dangerous. Place is fine if you want to stay up all night and party but if you object to screaming and yelling in the hallway at 2pm stay away.
Location is good during the day but noisy and seedy at night.
Americans should stay away the drunken guests express anti-American sympathies and with so many other good hotels in Rome you can fine bargains that provide a more pleasant stay.

Perfect location, super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is more than adequate. The hotel has a great spa, very beautiful. The only issue is the size of the bedroom: although we were in a junior suite, the room was very small and the third bed was actually a sofa (not very comfortable).

Room Tip: Front rooms have a nicer view.

Amazing location - able to walk everywhere from the the hotel - busy location at night but soundproof rooms meant we were never disturbed.

Helpful staff - allowed late check out on our last day, printed off boarding passes and arranged taxis whilst also recommending restaurants.

Lovely breakfast - coffee, pastries cereal with cooked breakfast also available

Clean rooms - was upgraded upon arrival to room 302 suite, spacious room and bathroom

Will recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Rome - would stay here again without a doubt.

Good things:
- immaculately clean hotel with up to date facilities and finishings including a new lift for easy accessibility
- rooms are spacious
- great breakfast service (they do an outstanding coffee!)
- beds are comfortable and wet/showering facilities are excellent
- one of the better locations to be in, enjoying a short walk away from most places in the ancient city. Despite this, it also enjoys not being located on a busy road.

Not so good:
- the spa leaves a lot to be desired.

Loved staying in a suite a Hotel Lunetta for 4 nights last week while I was visiting my daughter. Hotel staff was excellent and extremely helpful. Very professional but at the same time, very kind and always greeted us with a smile. The location is perfect, walking distance to most of the main attractions tucked back in the Palazzo Paradiso. We also had massages on our last day and WOW, just incredible! The rooftop terrace was a great little addition to our last evening also.

Room Tip: Suite was great, we had the only balcony off of the front of the hotel- 202
