“No internet !!! It says there is :((”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

Ohhh man !!!
A mess ; terrible mold smell we got headaches every days, I don't think Italian government knows about this place because they will close it ; definitively not healthy.
They did renovate rooms though that I checked so it was clean there but no internet in this side of building so we went where they say there's internet and I guess Indian manager Shamim shut it down I think they were trying saving money.
Broken light bulbs here and there and no one is fixing anything falling apart.

We could NOT watch tv and have our iphones charging at the same time because of the shortness of electric plugs so I asked an extension but management did not have one, we spent a week in HELL there -

Manager Shamim did not care we asked every single day to get things fixed and he absolutely ignored us or told us some bias!!!

Hot water tank is too small for two so after my wife I had to get cold showers !!!!!!!!!!!

They REFUSED to give us a better deal on the room since everything was broken even their internet, you can go by the desk there's internet their but after closing time goodby...

Breakfast is in another place in rome and crew is as bad they serve their customers before hotel clients because breakfast is free so they don't make money with hotel clients.
Wake up early to get there on time ; a real MESS.

I never been in India but this was India in Rome a mess -

Even though you think u are booking with beautiful place in rome, you will properly end up in any number of their families hotels...it really is a lottery.
I have just come back from staying in 'this' hotel for the past three nights with my boyfriend. I booked this place on hostel bookers, for it convenient location, good-ish reviews and lovely looking rooms. However when we arrived at 11am on our first day after an early start of 3am :-/ we were told our room was not ready because of 'building work', we don't however believe them as we never saw any evidence of this whatsoever. They said we could stay at another hotel just 4mins work (more like 10min in the already very hot/humid weather), we would receive a discount on our stay (worked out to be just 12euros) and free breakfast the next day (turned out to be a croissant each and water). We aren't much for complaining as it tends to start the holiday mood off badly so we went with this offer expecting the room to be of the same quality of what we had booked.....oh how wrong we were, dirty room and bathroom, smelly bathroom, shower that didnt fix to the wall, no air con, curtains that wouldnt close, TV that didnt work. But we sucked it up as was only for one night at least.
The next day, we dragged our cases back to out hotel we booked for, to be told to go to the fourth floor, there we were greeted and shown our room in 'kiarahouse'. Now this room was actually very nice, clean, bathrooms lovely (although not private, but close enough for the first night), everything we expected and more, but after the awful accom of the night before we were happy enough, this was more like what we had booked.
however, our last bit of disappointment arrived on our last day. We had to check out early at 10am, our flight wasnt until 6pm. so we planned to fit in a bit more sightseeing. At reception we asked to leave our bags (we had done this on our first morning when we had to switch hotels). Only to be told that they wouldnt accept our bags for a few hours (its not like they were locked away or anything, they were only left on the floor in the reception), when asked why not, they said because we stayed in 'kiarahouse' and they didnt have that facility. But hold on we booked with a beautiful place in room.....just because YOU over booked us, we are the ones being inconvenience. Anyway, when we asked where we could leave our bags, he gave us a shrug of his shoulders and clearly couldnt give a toss now we were leaving. (we ended up at the left luggage at the termini at a 30min que and 12euros later...)
Although we did end up with a lovely stay for 2 nights of our trip, i will leave it up to you to take your own risk with this hotel.....

We stayed one night here before going to the airport and probably would have changed hotels if we were to stay any longer.

The location is outstanding, although very noisy throughout the night from people on the street.

Rooms a bit cramped and we couldn't run the air con because it smelled like something had died inside it, so had to leave the window open instead, meaning not much sleep due to street noise.

The staff were very helpful, going over and above our expectations.

Pros:
Located just steps away from Rome Termini station. The building hosting the hotel may appear eerie, however, the hotel area is the exact opposite - it is very nice. We booked a private double room and it was very clean, comfortable and quiet. An excellent stay. Reception was also fantastic.

Cons:
The free wifi did not work work in our room. I recall that guests have to go to the lobby to properly use it. This is a first world problem.
