Upon arrival to Rome it was excellent that the hotel was so close to Termini Station; very easy to find. Check in was very easy and upon entering our room we were amazed at how beautiful it was. Great location for tonnes of great restaurants and bakeries. Short walking distance to the hop on hop of bus main stop was also a great bonus. Staff were always very pleasant. Would stay here again on return to Rome.

This hotel is a walking distance to all main attractions. My husband and I walked to almost all the major attractions. If you have lots of energy and somewhat athletic, you can walk to 90% of the attractions and see all the major attractions in Rome in about 3 days. In one day, we walked to most of the attractions and at the end of the day, we took a cab back to the hotel from the further point of our walk tour. The following day, we took a cab to the Vatican. The Vatican city requires at least one day. It is well worth it. We took a tour with a tour guide that we met outside the Vatican. After the tour, we stayed back to take our time and explore the Vatican city.

The hotel is very safe and is also located near the Termini. If you are taking a cruise from Rome Cevitavecchia, you can take the Termini. The train ride is approximately 1 hour to the cruise port. You can also take the express train from the Termini to the airport.

If we visit Rome again, we would definitely choose to stay at Hotel Gioberti.

Stayed here in June 2013, Very, very, nice hotel, staff was wonderful, staff very accommodating and helpful. Stayed here twice in June, the second time was only for one night, our room was very small or cramped and could barely move with our luggage. Breakfast was very good.Very nice hotel My only complaint was not with the hotel or service, was I did not like the area.

Room Tip: Very close to the train station and bus depot.

Nothing compares to the location of this hotel, a few seconds walking distance to termini station, the central station of Rome. Breakfast is of limited variety but the location makes you forget all the bad. Very nice restaurant right at the bottom of the building. Though the matress was not that good and caused some back pain. It was quite expensive though, knowing that there some cheaper hotels in the area, but again location location location

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and loved every minute of it. It was newly renovated and beautiful. The bathroom was wall to wall travertine marbel. The bathroom was huge with a large jacuzzi tub that was also a shower. The continental breakfast was served in the basement level which was a quaint dining area. The front desk staff was very helpful. They gave us great advice on dining, tours, and taxis. We explored every inch of Rome. The shopping was amazing for example-Gucci and Louis Vuitton purses were cheap compared to the U.S.

Room Tip: They don't have king sized beds in Italy so when you request one it's actually two twins pus...

There was no air conditioning and the room phone didn't work. Also only 1 electric outlet near the door, none near the bed or the desk.
The Lobby and hallways were very nice. Very close walk to the train terminal!

Lovely hotel, very close to Stazione Termini (50 m), checkin checkout easy, English speaking staff, room quite large, bathroom clean and spacious, very little noise.

However...... The bed is ROCK-hard, I mean the bed makes Chinese hotel beds seem fluffy.

We managed 4 hours sleep (and we were exhausted)

Thankfully there was plenty of hot water for showers to help ease sore back.

Room Tip: Find somewhere else with a softer bed
