“Beautiful Hotel”

We were most pleased with this hotel and everything about it. We stayed for three nights as part of our Insight tour. Our room was superbly decorated and fitted out. Breakfasts were plentiful, many many choices, including Bircher muesli which is a favourite of mine. Staff were more than helpful when required and the place was spotless and well presented. Love it.

We would stay here again. It was within walking distance of most important places to see. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They made sure we had the hotel phone number to call them incase we got lost on our venture on walking to see all the historical sites. If you get lost, just call the hotel and they will send a taxi for you. When choosing a hotel in Rome we wanted walking distance to most sites and we wanted Breakfast included. Breakfast in Rome can cost around 17 Euros per person, so rather then taking a cheeper hotel with no breakfast we choose a better star hotel with breakfast (The Veneto Palace Hotel).End result, better hotel same end price. The rooms were very nice. It just felt comfortable staying there.

Dear Ms. Susan,
thank you for posting your feedback after your stay at Hotel Veneto Palace. Nice to read, that you enjoyed your stay, especially the very central location – only a few steps from Via Vittorio Veneto and our professional and very helpful staff. Looking forward to welcoming you soon again.

Best regards from Roma.

Enjoyed arriving at this hotel as it is an impressive looking style and in a great location. unfortunately the "gentlemen" at reception had missed the classes in etiquette so were very boorish and unhelpful and seemed to regard their newly arrived guests as a terrible inconvenience to their day. Equally at breakfast the next morning, the selections were limited and the staff seemed to wish we would all leave them alone.
Nonetheless our room was delightful and the ambiance in the hotel was still charming and elegant.

Room Tip: Stay away from elevators as they are noisy and walls are old and not thick.

We stayed at Veneto palace for 4 days. The staff is outstanding and always ready to answer questions or give directions. We liked the neighborhood and felt safe to be out walking in the evening. When we arrived we were taken to a room, red room with a ceiling window that did not have a bathtub. I asked for a tub and we were moved right away! Our 2nd room was wonderful, with floor to ceiling window that opened on to the front. the hotel is clean and comfortable. I loved opening the window mooring and evening to hear the bells ringing and the swallows swooping. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options to meet various tastes. I appreciated the fresh fruit, sparkling water and wonderful coffee delivered by the most charming staff. If you come from North America be careful with your appliances -even if you have an adaptor you need to watch the voltage or your curiling irons.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with the long windows that open. We didn't mind hearing a bit of traffic when th...

I enjoyed this hotel and the feeling of Rome it gave. The staff were welcoming and accomodating. We requested to move to a renovated room which was much superior to the initial room they gave us. It was clean, charming and elegant. The location was convenient and the price was fair.

Just returned from a 5 night stay. The hotel is in a good quiet location in the right end of town, the rooms are also quiet which was surprising as we were next the lift. While clean and comfortable I would not class this hotel as 4 star our room particularly the bathroom was tired and needed refreshing.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour group for three nights. The room was comfortable and clean. A little small, but we soon realized that was typical for Italy. The breakfast buffet was quite nice with eggs, lots of bakery items, meats and cheese, and very good coffee.

Although we had a room at the street, we didn't find it kept us awake (maybe because we were so tired from walking all over Rome!)
