Visited hotel in July 2014 with family of 4. Good breakfast service, nice staff and excellent bus/railway/metro connection. A small heated pool in the garden area. Roof terrace with seats. Will definitely come back later. Can be recommend for the families when more than 2 normal beds are needed.

This was a perfect hotel for what we wanted. It is about ten minutes walk from Cipro Metro stop (albeit an uphill walk back), but this then went straight into the City of Rome for 1.50 Euros. The hotel itself had an excellent little swimming pool which was ideal after a hot day trudging around Rome. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were very helpful.

We ate once in the restaurant and it was good quality albeit not that cheap.

All in all an excellent value hotel for Rome as long as you don't mind being a bit out of town.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on floor one so you are level with the pool. It makes going in and out of pool area v...

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Tiberio 5 years ago and the experience was wonderful.
The staf is wonderful , always ready to help, Breakfast delicious with plenty of choices and the room very comfortable. We are going back to Rome in two weeks and looking forward to stay at the Grand Hotel Tiberio again,
By the way I don't understand where the negative comments are coming from because for us everything was perfect .

A really lovely hotel. Ideal location (approx 20 min walk to Vatican City) with a small pool, which was perfect after a day sightseeing in Rome. Be warned in July plenty of mossies around the pool area.
Free bus takes you into the city centre, which was a fun experience.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice offering a range of choice.
The hotel had a nice modern feel to it, particularity liked the moped's in the lobby area.
Lovely roof top terrace, perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing with a cold Peroni.
Room was spacious with a HUGE bed! Free WiFi.
City tours are available from reception.
TIP: You can only use the plugs for charging your phone etc with the room card in the wall, but you can charge phones etc using the T.V socket under the desk without needing the room card. So ideal when you're not in the room.

Room Tip: Even the basic rooms are lovely with a HUGE bed! And air conditioning.

If you are drinvig this is a very good the place to stay in Rome. The hotel offers modern rooms, working wi-fi and free parking just a few minutes by foot far from St, Peter's basillica. Fair prices, good restaurant and breakfast.

Room Tip: All of the rooms look quiet and clean.

While the hotel was nice, I must say that the front desk staff was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I asked several questions. It was my first time in Italy, and I needed assistance with various questions.

Also, while the food at the restaurant was very good, the head maitre d', was very unprofessional towards our party.

Out of the main stream but still plenty of hustle and bustle if the city. A brisk 20 minute walk to the Vatican City and action. Hotel staff was very nice and attentive. Made our family feel welcome. We are rested and ready for Italy. Tip of the hat to this team.
