A lovely little private hotel right in the centre of Rome and very convenient for all major tourist attractions, in fact, most are within easy walking distance. A perfect location for a short city break! The hotel is In a quiet residential area but just a couple of minutes walk from several busy piazzas which buzz with activity and have many good eating places.
The hotel is quaint and furnished to a good standard, the only slight downside was that our room was quite small but I gather that is fairly normal for central Rome accommodation.
On arrival, the reception area was being repainted and redecorated and the furniture was just being put back in place as we left, so we never saw the final result but I feel sure that judging from the rest of the property, it will be well up to standard. The TV only had local Italian channels but that was not a problem.
The staff were lovely and most helpful and we had a good breakfast in a pretty little breakfast room.
We would happily sat there again.More
