Based on all the possitive reviews we went to this place. Yes, the owner seems nice enough, but that's about it. I really can't understand how people can call this place nice with good atmosphere, the furniture is just boring senventies. But the food was really horrible: we ordered grilled meat but that was fat, incredible. And the meat was just luke chewing leather. The French fries seemed to be fried for the second time: fat and burnt flavor. Besides all this the waiter was not very friendly and gave the impression that he was new to the job and was not selected on his social skills. About the price: for 2 beers and 2 plates with fat, 1 French fries and one green salad we paid 44 Euro's and for that price you can do much much better. Reading all the reviews I cannot believe that this is the same place because even on an off-day they would have done much better.

PS: this is really the first time a write a negative review like this, but we were really disappointed so just meant to warn. Of course people deserve a second chance, but if you mess up like this the first time...

We came across this restaurant when we were looking for our hotel, and just got off the train. The gentleman from this restaurant was kind enough to give us directions. He asked us to come back and try them for dinner. We are glad we did. Just a typical pizzeria, but better then most.

My husband and I stumbled on this gem of a restaurant on a rainy evening in January. What a find. Run by a husband and wife,no other staff he cooks she does everything else. This is a traditional restaurant first impressions it looks a little dated but that is part of the charm. It is very popular with the locals which is always a good sign and the food is cooked to order, fresh and really tasty. The service was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere very welcoming.
half litre of house wine, 5E, starter 7E, Main 10-20E, desert 4E.
Excellent value for money we had a lovely three course meal for two total 77E, you could easily eat here for much less depending on choice.
I would particularly recommend the lobster catalan most expensive item on the menu but so worth it yum yum, equally delicious pasta carbonara and mussels as antipasti.

Rome is a fantastic city, but I should have checked tripadviser before entering this terrible restaurant. The spaghetti of sea food was not so fresh, the crab smelled like being frozen for hundreds of years. Very slow service and bad attitude. Cold room made me want to leave as soon as possible...
It ruin my happy mood after one day's experience in Rome.
