we were quite happy with our stay, staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was functional and comfortable, we had a room at the back of the hotel so had a view of gardens which was fine for us. It was quite a way up near the area where the Embassy's are situated but once we knew where we were we found we could get a bus from Via Septembre which took us into town v easily. You can get an all day bus ticket from any local tabacc (newsagents) which use can use as much as you like all day.
The breakfast was continental but perfectly adequate - rolls, croissants, yoghurts, cereal, some hot food and drinks (i just brought my own tea bags)
we found a great cafe Caffe Piave literally at the end of the road which also has outside (covered)seating. Great waitress there who was very chatty and so helpful. GREAT pizza and desserts. we went back on 3 different evenings for food is was that good.
All in a all we found it to be a serviceable hotel - we just wanted somewhere clean which we could use as a base and to be honest we didn't really spend much time in it so it was fine for us.
I gave the sleep quality average only because the pillow was too hard for me but every evening we slept so well as we'd done so much walking during the day!
some might find the location too far (up the map) but with a bus route around the corner it was fine for us.

The hotel safe were so lovely and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable (nothing to overly rave about) but the hotel was quite a walk away from anything. This was ok as we were able to walk through the local markets but be prepared; it is not central.

The one big downer with this hotel was the breakfast, you go down stairs into a dim room, low ceilings and dull breakfast. If the breakfast wasn't so bad it would probably make the overall experience of the hotel alot better, also they need a decent coffee machine.
I would not stay here again but ok value for money

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building, otherwise you are taken down the road (only about 10 metres) to...

We stayed from 29 dec 2013 to 2 January 2014, guys at the reception were very polite and helpfull.
The hotel himself is ok far away from a 4 stars not sure how they get their stars...
Room was comfortable clean but no bath and shower was on the celling so bit hard for my 5 years old son.
Bed is good.
Breakfast was the worst part very bad food selection poor bread poor coffee machine poor juice poor ham I mean day 3 have to get breakfast outside.
Location is not good fare for centre their is buses but they are so full...
Bar inside the hotel is close I mean no athmosphere in this hotel.
In front good pizzeria and we also recommend pizzeria san Marco via sardegna 38 Andrea the boss is very kind service excellent and good delicious.
We will not going back to that hotel but Rome is the must beautiful city in the world enjoyed very much, get ready to walk a lot as his no taxi or very few and people's fight for it.
Italian try to rip you off in the bar always ask before the price we end up paying 50 euros for two plate of pasta in a walk in bar!

Good hotel for the price. Clean and friendly. A bit out of the centre but bus only 2 min walk away. Metro also not far away.
Rooms small but good. Breakfast also good with good variety. Restaurant across the road is great.

We were very happy with our room and the Hotel. Our room was decorated quite nice. It had beautiful fabric walls and was very cozy. The breakfast buffet was downstairs and had a cute Italian restaurant with very good coffee and a variety of good food. The room service was very good and the people at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is within walking distance to the Borghese park. It is about a 10 minute walk. As far as reaching other historic sites, It is quite a ways away. We did like this Hotel and have nothing negative to say about it. We were quite content here.
