Stayed here for about 3 nights for our honeymoon. The location is great - it's about a 2 minute walk from Carvour subway station, and maybe 8 minutes from the Termini subway station (the express train from the airport drops you off at Termini, and you can access the other subway lines from Termini). There's also convenience stores, gelato shops, and cheap restaurants all within walking distance.

The service was great - the gentleman at the front desk gave us detailed instructions in terms of how to use the public bus and subway system. He also reminded us to be mindful of our bags and to be careful in case people try to pick-pocket us. We forgot to buy tickets for the Vatican online so he gave us the great idea of buying tickets from a travel agency - so we got to skip the line instead of lining up for 2-3 hours in the heat!

The room was okay, about 3.5 stars - the only negative thing was the Wifi - signal was very weak in our hotel room.

We stayed at Hotel Borromeo for 3 nights. We stayed in the suit and were very happy with our room. We had a very large balcony and a large room. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was not great. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and kind. They were very welcoming and friendly. Hotel is in a great location for sightseeing.

We stayed in The Borrowmeo for three nights in July. The hotel was excellent. Spotlessly clean. In a super location. A very good good breakfast as much as you can eat and drink and Gigi on Reception was vey helpful. If we went back to Rome the six of us would definitely stay in this hotel again. Broughton,Harper and Hall.

Room Tip: Ask for one with shower cubicle in bathroom as opposed to a bath with a shower over bath.

We arrived in Rome after booking our hotel many months in advance. The plan was to stay with friends who were also staying in this hotel only to find out that they were having problems with their air conditioning and that we would have to re locate to another hotel a taxi ride away.... Fortunately they managed to fix the problems that evening and we were able to stay with our friends as planned. Once we were settled into the room we noticed that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. The sink was still dirty and the cup on the counter was also very dirty. We reported this and an attendant came and cleaned the bathroom again for us. Unfortunately at the end of our 3 week trip through Italy and Croatia we had also booked a two night stay in this hotel before flying home to Canada. We arrived and were put in a room that all the windows were open in.... before going out for dinner we closed the windows and put the air conditioning on with a plan to return home to a cool room comfortable for sleeping. When we arrived back after dinner at 12:00 we discovered that our room smelled of sewage... After explaining our problem to the person at the desk we were offered a can of air deodorizer!!!!! We encouraged the person on duty at the desk to come and have a smell at our room.... and he said our room did indeed smell strange ... but offered us no solutions. The hotel is full... you could sleep in the lobby if you like.!!! So twice now we have been burned by this hotel. I would not recommend anyone risks making a reservation at this hotel.

Room Tip: Stay away from this hotel. They are not up to standard.

Superb hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast on roof top garden was a real treat, but most of all hotel staff were lovely, very helpful and courteous, especially Gigi. We had a great time and would definitely book again. Location was great, near Termini and metro lines but also close to Coloseum and Palentine Hill.

Great location: 10 min walk from train station, 5 min walk from Coliseum.
Arrived 2 hours early and was offered to look after luggage while I wandered about.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room clean and comfortable.
Hadn't realised I had booked with breakfast included so great bonus. Scrambled egg on toast and a cuppa in the morning..... yum! : ) Cereals, fruits, bacon etc also available.
I walked everywhere while in Rome and this hotel was a welcome return at the end of a fab day in a gorgeous City
Thank you to all the staff! : )
