“One of the worse treatments,ever.”

There are hundreds of hotels nearby,if you want to be treated like dirt, this is the hotel for you,if not, stay somewhere else.DO NOT go to the bar located in front of this hotel,it's a scam and the hotel management knows about it and will boldy laugh at your face.Bar name you asked?Mi Amore.

Room Tip: Avoid headaches and stay somewhere else.

Yes, this is a tourist hotel. What would you expect a mere 5 minute downhill walk to the Coliseum?? How close can you get to the perfect spot?? The room was small but adequate for 3 adults. The bathroom was older and clean. The breakfast room was very busy, well stocked for an expanded continental breakfast. I passed on the wet eggs and fatty bacon. The pastries were very fresh and the coffee good.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the back. It fronts on a very busy street.

We stayed here for two nights as part of our tour from gate 1 travel. Very nice location. 5 minute walk to the collosseum and roman forum. And lots of souviner shops and restaurants.
Our room were very nice. Spacious, clean and comfortable mattresses and pillows. Free Wifi at the lobby only, they charge €5 per hour for wifi from your room.
Breakfast buffet is suferb! Lots of choices. I recommend this hotel!

We spent two nites at the Palatino and thoroughly enjoyed its location. Right across the street was St. Peter's in Chains church which is a must see. Lots of nice cafés and shops on the street. You are only couple of blocks from the Colosseum. We could actually see it from our room. Our room was clean and nicely appointed.

If you enjoy being in the middle of some of the attractions in Rome, this is the hotel for you. You can walk to the Colosseum and the subway (a short ride to the Vatican). The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. No problem with the amount of food in the dining room. Front Desk service was just OK, but I think it's because they have very large groups going in and out constantly (cruise line passengers and bus tours). Clean, great location, comfortable, and good food....I would book again when in Rome!!

We recently stayed at the Palatino Grand Hotel in Rome while on our 9 day tour for our honeymoon. The hotel was great, the food was great, the service was great and the location was perfect, literally 2 blocks from the Colosseum! The rooms were the perfect size, and very clean. Would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Rome!

We were heading for a cruise in a few days and was with the travel company that we had booked through. The Hotel's Front Desk people were not warm and welcoming. They actually seemed annoyed when we asked questions about directions or anything else. They Hotel offered breakfast which would of been nice but if you didn't get down to the breakfast room exactly when it opened you were left with nothing. The hotel staff was more interested in taking all the dishes away. 8 am is not late for breakfast! The hotel was clean, the bar staff was very friendly and made a night cap fun.

Room Tip: We will not be staying at this hotel again. Our room faced the front of hotel and busy street.
