Lovely hotel and very helpful, kind and caring staff who treated you more as a friend rather than just a customer, lovely bedroom and bathroom facilities.
The roof top restaurant is great too, with wonderful views across Rome, nice breakfast each morning too with a wide choice of fresh food.
Also situated in the nicest area of Rome just off the Via Veneto with it's lovely bars.

The location of this hotel is +++!!! You can walk from the hotel to the city center.
Front desk service is above excellent and deserve the warm words I'm giving them.
We were there for April 2013 and next time we'll be in Rome again will definitely go back there.
The room was clean which is extremely important to us!

My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Savoy for 10 nights recently. Everyone at the hotel was professional, polite and helpful. Our room was very clean, pleasant and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone - I especially enjoyed the morning cappuccino! The staff, including Francesco, Emiliano, Stefano, Daga, and Giada, were a delight. Francesco was especially helpful with arranging a day tour to Capri. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again in the future.

Just got back from our most recent trip to Rome celebrating my wife's birthday. The Hotel has changed a little since our last visit & now boasts a roof top restaurant.

The staff are as always first class, polite & always very happy to help. The rooms are clean, tidy & quite thanks to the effective double glazing that keeps the street noise out. The hotel is of a classic style not your boring modern formula style hotel.

It is wonderfully positioned for seeing the sites (take good walking shoes) & the breakfast room still provides one of the best cappuccinos this side of Heaven.

Looking forward to our next visit!!

Don't believe any of the pictures you see, and don't get carried away by the fact that this hotel is in the same neighborhood of many 5 star hotels. It's an old hotel, I'm not saying that it is terrible, just saying that it doesn't deliver what you see on those pictures. Breakfast? It is served in a basement, which can be pretty crowded and poor. That's it. We stayed 7 days in Rome, 5 days in an NH hotel and the other 2 days in this Hotel, both hotels had the same price. NH was much better.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary at the beginning of June. The hotel is beautiful. We were greeted by Emiliano, who checked us in on arrival. He was very friendly and gave us a free upgrade to a suite, which was lovely.

The room was a lovely size, with a long sofa and chair and plenty of drawer and cupboard space. The bathroom was really large, and very tastefully decorated, and the shower was really powerful.

My husband was unfortunate enough to be robbed on the metro on our second day. We went straight back to the hotel to get it reported and put a stop on the bank cards, and Emiliano was a fantastic help, and was very kind to me as I was a bit shaken up by it.

All of the staff in the hotel were very friendly. Every member of staff greeted us every day with a “Buongiorno” and a smile. Not one person appeared to be miserable.

The rooftop terrace was lovely, with fantastic views over the city. The restaurant/bar was run by a lovely lady called Ellena, who was so friendly and helpful. We spent some lovely evenings sat up there, enjoying the view, and the excellent service of Ellena and her staff.

We honestly couldn’t have stayed anywhere better in Rome.

If I had to say anything slightly negative, then it would be that at breakfast on our first morning, they ran out of bacon and egg, and it was at least 20 minutes before supplies were replenished. We didn’t really consider this to be a problem, as there were plenty of other things to choose from to still give you a good breakfast.

A wonderful stay.

A good location, easy to get to from Roma Termini by taxi. A healthy walk to most of the sites, but certainly doable.
The staff are very helpful. Wifi was available for a charge, although to be fair, I don't think they charged us for using it for a short time.
The rooms are dated, but acceptable. Bathroom small with some amenities overlapping the others!
Breakfast was fine.
Overall, this is probably a good hotel for downtown Rome, but on an international scale, less than what you'd expect for the money.
