Spent three nights at this hotel. Very comfortable and well-appointed. Very helpful front office staff - although the one downside was that on arrival we were given a suite overlooking the Via Aldrovandi, which had loud traffic noise. We were moved swiftly when we complained - into a room which was much quieter, but seemed to be a "reserve" room for people complaining - so some of the lights did not work, there was no water in the room and so on. Having said this, the outdoor swimming pool was very nice, with courteous and helpful staff. Another plus is the half-hourly hotel shuttle minibus to the Spanish Steps - or you can walk very easily through the Borghese park.

Room Tip: Avoid a room overlooking Via Aldrovandi - to avoid traffic noise.

Beautiful swimming pool and a nice spa. Can't comment on Oliver Glowig as didn't eat there. However concierge staff almost comically incompetent. Clear emails ignored, agreed rescue steps again not delivered, DVD player requested was put in room but didn't work, beds not made up or turned down when specifically requested. ... the list goes on and on. What a disappointment for a hotel charging this much. 5 * prices, 2* service.

Spent two days here and the hotel is VERY nicely appointed, great friendly lobby/ front desk staff whom assisted us with any arrangements we needed to do, and places we wanted to see.

The pool very nice, very above average for sure, and the rate really was reasonable. UNTIL you order food , drinks at the pool , terrace area. my wife ordered a simple plate of in season local melon...the bill came as 20 euros..I understand a hotel needs to make money, but that went above the call of Italian capitalist duty..simply put it was a "rip off" by any standards. too bad because small things like this tend to overshadow the 20 good memories of the hotel that preceded this gold encrusted Italian melon poolside....the staff also is poorly trained (not their fault) are not the gracious hosts fitting of such elegant surroundings ...

Happy with this hotel choice for our 7 day stay in Rome. Little pricey but worth it. Great rooms and staff is very friendly. Hotel is away from all the city noises. Very calm and sophisticated feel. Looked to me like upper east side or central park area in New York city.

Please note that you have to either take the free shuttle from the hotel or Taxi to go anywhere. Free shuttle runs twice in an hour. Try to reserve it ahead to make sure you get a seat in this shuttle especially for your return trips as this is only a mini van. Free WiFi and Locker in the room is a plus. About 10 to 15 Euros is what aTaxi will cost to many city centers. We took taxi for most of the times. Not easy to get to places from here walking.

Free breakfast buffet was good. But we had this breakfast only for a day or two as our tour trip starts at 7am and breakfast only starts at 7:30am so you end up paying for room service. We never ate at the restaurant as it was easy to get to the Spanish Steps area and have lot of choices to eat. Restaurant prices was very high.

If you are with a family I recommend to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. It cost around 70 Euros.

Certainly I will stay again here and it is one of the hotel that you may want to consider as well in your choices.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool area will be a great choice. If you planning to be out most of the time on various tours and going around the city any room is a good choice.

Excellent hotel in all respects. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area like an oasis in the busy hot city that is Rome. A great walk through the Park into the tourist spots. Two fabulous bars- one at the poolside and one by reception.
