Much much better than my last stay in this hotel. They strongly improved adding new marvelous SPA branded by Creme de la Mer (my wife said is the best in the world) and making the hotel even better than my last visit here. I have stayed also at De Russie and Hotel Hassler recently, frankly speaking they do not worth the visit and this hotel is much more welcoming, relaxing and complete (especially in the warmest months).
Fresh flowers everywhere, beautiful gardens, and secluded relaxing pool.
My wife very positively experienced the treatments in the spa and we both experienced the 2 Michelin star restaurant in the garden. Well, the dinner proved to be one of the best of our life, the service has been perfect and food unforgettable.
The courtesy car to the Spanish Steps is very useful and complimentary bikes are really a good service in the middle of the Borghese gardens.
We had the pleasure to meet the hotel manager Ugo Ossani in the very classic breakfast room, he personally followed our stay and granted us all possible attentions during our too short stay. This gentleman looks very clever and this hotel reflects his old way of thinking the hotellerie.
Short note regarding our room. It was not perfect, too classic and missing some new enhancement seen in other properties but, I have to admit, the level of the property is very close to Four Seasons and Orient Express hotels.
We will definitely come back, Aldrovandi is our first choice in Rome,
Thank you to all the staff and to the general manager Mr. Ugo Osani.

We stayed at this hotel on our first trip to Rome. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful right from arrival - recommended great restaurants and upgraded our room too. Pool beautiful, lovely breakfasts in airy open restaurant. The downside of this hotel is that it's outside the centre and although they run a free shuttle to the Spanish steps, we spent a lot on taxis getting around. Having said that, it's totally worth it as the pool area is beautiful after a hot day's sightseeing and the most helpful pool attendants I've ever come across. (Pool chairs were all taken on one afternoon so they reserved us some to make up for it the next day) Food at lunch is expensive (but yum) and make sure you get bed and breakfast deal as otherwise breakfast is pricey. We had the most fantastic time and I would absolutely go back. Our children's room did overlook the road and so was loud with the window open but fine when shut. If possible get a pool view - so worth it.
Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a nice hotel away from the hustle and bustle, this is a sweet spot. I was a guest here on business and I must say the hotel has a very high standard of service. Their concierge desk is one of the most helpful I have ever encountered. The location is lovely and the pool area is absolutely stunning. The breakfast each morning is so beautiful you really want to linger and enjoy the atmosphere as long as possible.

We stayed there for 5 nights while visiting Rome in July 2014. It was our first time in that magnificent city.
The hotel is overall great. Everything looks beautiful and they are putting a lot of effort into it.
The swimming pool is very pleasant and the spa is really nice.
This being said, try to avoid rooms with windows on the street as it can be quite noisy. We also had a little issue with a doorman forgetting about us and assigning taxis to other people before us even though we had been waiting for a while.
The location next to the park is really pleasant. In the end, we found the place to be a great value.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the street side - ask for garden side

This hotel is full of history with a beautiful lobby and gardens. Very clean. Could use some upgrades in the rooms and some modernization. Great city hotel, with a wonderful secluded pool. Food was fantastic and transportation is near.
