Beautiful and sophisticated hotel with a love to details.
Excellent service,staff was exceptional!
Hotel was located in a quiet but pleasant residential area ( with a few charming coffee shops, restaurants a nd boutiques)not far from the piazza del populo ( historical center)about 25 min walk.
However the hotel provided a frequent shuttle bus, free of charge.
The hotel restaurant including the morning buffet offered good quality food in a very charming environment.
We definitly would choose the hotel again.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel, staff were friendly and willing to help which is always nice! The location is close to center and the hotel also offers their shuttle that drives you to the center. When we were leaving hotel ordered us a mini-van

We arrived at the Duke Hotel quite late from the airport. It was nice to find we were able to get a decent meal up to 10.15 pm. The food in the hotel is of high standard but is a bit pricey!
Breakfast is a feast with all you could want to start your day, although if you wanted 'fresh' coffee it cost 4 euros. The hotel is great value with rooms being large enough and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had for a long time. The hotel is around 4 km out from the city centre, with the district of Euclide only 500m away for local restaurants and cafes. This is not a problem as the hotel provided a free shuttle to Flaminio metro station from which all the sites of interest are easily reached. After a day's sightseeing the fact the hotel was in a quiet residential area was a big plus with a peaceful night leaving you refreshed for the next day's sight seeing. The Duke Hotel staff are polite and very helpful with a great shuttle service but with only 7 seats "soon to be 8 " you do need to book out on the morning service, less so on the way back later in the day. We highly recommend the Duke Hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

Charming, no little sophistication, and friendly staff. We were a family of four including two children. They gave us connecting superior and classic rooms which worked brilliantly. The shuttle bus worked brilliantly and is essential - taxis from here would bankrupt most. The criticism on these reviews of the shuttle are unfair in my opinion. My only gripe was the wifi - appalling - not a problem with the signal merely the fact it drops out if you don't use for 2 minutes or so. This is not acceptable to a business traveller and for this reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel for business but would for the leisure market. However, the hotel needs to change with the times - rightly or wrongly the leisure market is increasingly demanding free and reliable hotel wifi

Very impressed with this charming hotel. Very clean, attentive service, very good restaurant in the hotel. The bar should be updated and organized as it was really just a table with some liquor on it, and the room was so pretty, would have enjoyed having a proper bartender on hand as a perfect place to unwind.
Bathrooms updated and larger than we expected to find in Rome. Overall very nice, though location not in the hub of Rome, we quite liked the quiet side street.

The family room (2 adjoining rooms) was great value for us (2 adults +2 teenagers). Staff are very friendly, breakfast was good too. You couldn't walk into the city from here, the hotel does provide a shuttle every half hour to the metro ( but it's only 7 seater and often full) - we used the nearest metro station, Euclide, which is only 500m away (downhill) and a one stop hop takes you to where the minibus drops you. There are also a few small restaurants at Euclide and on the road up to the hotel.

This might be an ideal hotel for the businessperson but its not ideal for the tourist.
We were disappointed to find no tea/coffee making facilities in the room nor could reception provide me with a kettle - had to order hot water from room service. Breakfast was ok (restaurant staff were excellent). The main problem with the hotel is its location in a quiet residential area with no nearby restaurants or shops and its distance from the main tourist attractions. There is a free shuttle (6 persons) into the city centre - this has to be booked in advance and due to something getting lost in translation we were left waiting over an hour and a half for a ride back to the hotel. I wish I had paid a little more for a hotel more centrally located.
