Officiousness and dismissiveness appeared to be the attitude of the all male desk staff. Two people in our group asked for the desk to follow up car/shuttle bookings. They were declined. Hotel in a great position near the station, but a little shabby.

This traditional Hotel offers for the standards of Rome surprisingly spacy rooms. We had a double of approx, 30 square meters, plus a bathroom of large size. The looks of the hotel are Italian old school, even the rooms seemed to have been completely renovated recently. They had new parquet floors, new tile work in the bathroom etc. The attentiveness of the staff depended on the person you contacted.

Room Tip: Try to get a quiet room at the backside, and not facing Via Cavour

All in all, a solid hotel well located near Termini. The rooms are good - clean, tidy etc. Standard 4**** I would say. The loots (shampoo etc) are also decent, and replaced daily as they should be.

Breakfast in the morning was good. Attentive staff, although not sure why there was CCTV in the room. Maybe someone is stealing too many Nutellas?

We did have the fastest bellboy ever who took our bags to the room. He had disappeared down the corridors way before us.

The only criticism would be the rather rude woman on check out. She picked her teeth as she asked us for the city tax. And when she returned the change, she dumped it on the desk without a thankyou or goodbye.

All in all, a decent hotel, well located near Termini station.

Found this hotel via our travel booker but what a pleasant surprise. Wonderfully close to the railway but also many of the central attractions. The hotel is part of a very small chain but has a big brand feel to it.

Lovely room with high ceilings and good size bathroom. The bathroom fixtures were new and plenty of toiletries. Very relaxing space - my room overlooked a courtyard but was bright and airy - you're in Rome so you don't need a room with a view.

Bar service was great. Traditional old-school waiter with good knowledge - a glass of house red and a bottle of water was €5.00 - not bad for Rome hotels...

Breakfast was a feast - I love all the fresh fruit, cakes, bakery products and fresh juices. Italian coffee was brilliant.

Dead easy to get around as well. With three other hotels on the block all under the same ownership, you can use their facilities also. I didn't make the rooftop bar of the Mediterraneo but I will do next time.

You don't need fancy chains when you're in Europe but good old school hoteliers.

Room Tip: Higher floor away from the lifts. Rooms at back don't have views but if you want quiet at night...

Clean, modern facilities, with good breakfast to start the day. Great location for train, bus, or metro connections only two minutes away. Reasonable restaurants nearby and Colosseum down the street. We stayed for 5 days and were comfortable throughout. Front desk is professional but somewhat cool. Special compliments to Anna in the breakfast room. She was a joy to deal with and took very good care of all guests. She is a credit to the hotel and one of the best employees we have seen in our many travel experiences. She is like a little " mother" and makes sure everyone is well served.
The hotel itself, is modernized, clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay here again on our next visit.

This hotel is in a great location near the train station. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping is doing a great job. The bathroom was brand new and very well designed. The rooms have an energy system designed by Siemens that you need a card key to operate and when you remove the card the power goes off after a short period. Get an extra key if there are two or more people to make this work for you. The front desk staff were very helpful with all matters such as directions, Internet, extra pillows etc. The bartender off the side of the lobby was always there and very friendly and kept the cocktail tables clean. The restrooms off of the lobby were spotless and tiled beautifully. Breakfast service was very good.

Wonderful rooms. Nice and large! The rooms were cool and quiet. We stayed two nights while traveling through Italy and we wanted to stay more but they were booked full, unfortunately. The bathroom was very clean and large, double sinks, bidet, every toiletry you can think you might forget and a walk in closet! We had a towel warmer and a clothes steamer. The hotel has a wonderful free breakfast with eggs, ham, breads, juices and cereal. The staff was friendly, by Italian terms. There are numerous resteraunts within walking distance and shops. The only con: every time you turn off your phone, even just turning the screen off you must go back and log back into wifi, it gets old fast. But honestly I would stay here in a heart beat! :)
