Reviewed 11 February 2014

One of the great places to stay. A very lavish hotel with all the facilities to make your stay comfortable. A nice location with good variety of food adds to the charm of this hotel. Liked the customer service. Guests are also welcomed in style and proper care is taken. Would like to visit again

This hotel is in a great location, only minutes away from the ancient city walls. The rooms are clean, but basic. The staff were extremely helpful, particularly in booking excursions, and sorted out the minor problems we had in a timely and professional fashion. Overall the hotel was perfect for what we wanted.

This hotel is okay... We had a good, clean room, but because we both are 6'4", our feet stuck out of the bed. The staff was sometimes very helpful, sometimes very bold. The breakfast room is just too small for the number of guests: sometimes people had to stand and wait for a seat. The breakfast itself was good and tasty. If you like to see the big sights in Rome by foot, there are better located hotels, but certainly also worse ones! ;-)

We stayed here for our honeymoon recently and it was lovely. Not the most luxury hotel however still great for a break.Very cleen and comfy beds, nice and central. The staff arent the friendliest we have ever met but we didnt' really have to deal with them much

We stayed 4 nights at Rome Garden and we had a nice time.

GOOD THINGS;
- Room was clean having nice classic interior (excellent beds)
- Hotel is 50 meters away from main streat reducing the street noise quite a bit.
- Good breakfast buffet

REMARKS;
- There's no real garden, only a small terrace outside
- Noisy Eleveator waking us up in the morning
- Don't count on the wireless
- Remote location; shortest metro station is 15 minutes walk away, busses are very unreliable (not a hotel problem by the way)

Anyway, we enjoyed the stay.

Booked through a discount website with an excellent rate and really pleased with the hotel. Set in a real period Roman villa with a lovely garden, it would be worth a visit just to have coffee in the garden! Breakfast is a very well prepared buffet spread and far exceeds the usual continental pastry and coffee which was a real relief! Having lived in many 18/19th century converted buildings their sound proofing is never as good as a 70s concrete box, but their charm far exceeds this minor inconvenience. An excellent hotel, well recommended.

The first day my husband and I arrived we were treated poorly. The person at the Reception was very rude. Zero customer service skills. The hotel is small, a Bed & Breakfast type of hotel, but clean and comfortable. Apart from this particular Receptionist (an older man), the rest of the staff was nice and courteous.

Room Tip: Not recommended for family with small children
