Spent three nights at Pace Helvezia together with my wife and my parents-in-law. The hotel offers the perfect location for a short trip to explore the most famous sightings in Rome, with only a few hundred meters away from Piazza Venezia and Fontana di Trevi. Rooms were spacious and the service at the reception was excellent. Nice breakfast. Beds were sub par, and the balcony was very tiny.

Me and three friends came to Rome for a long weekend and as we intended sightseeing it was important that we were at least within walking distance of what we wanted to visit. This hotel certainly fitted that bill. A short walk to Trevvi Fountain . The tomb of the unknown soldier ( aka Victor Emmanuel monument) and just a bit further beyond we were in the Forum which lead to the Colosseum. What could be better. Taxis in Rome aren't expensive so we managed to get to the Vatican, Pantheon etc for very little cost. A tip would be to get up early if you intend to go to the Colosseum and beat the queues. Be prepared to queue at whatever time of day at St Peter's basilica!!! Back to the hotel remember it's just a base , although the rooms ate clean and we had lovely clean white towels daily, the decor and furnishings are dated and the rooms could do with redecoration. But.... The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing you can see the majority of the places of interest from up there!!! The continental breakfast is what it is, there was plenty of choice so you won't go hungry. The bar, such as it is, is only open from 4:00pm-8:00pm but you can take your own drinks up to the terrace.

Our room's air conditioning was sub par and the room itself was very tiny. The latter can be understood in the context of the location and price. The high point of this hotel is its location. Most restaurants and attractions are at walking distance. The reception staff were very helpful.

A good location and standard but the beds were not so good and it was quite old fashioned. The terrace was remarkable, view over whole Rome and the Vatican. The breakfast was nice with a small buffet.

Rome. it is a 10 minute walk from the Spanish steps and plaza Navona and several other attractions.
its there are several free parking spaces arroud the hotel.
the hotel is styled in 40s design. the rooms are equipped with tea and coffee facilities, good breakfast and nice staff.
