Stayed here at start of our Tempo Holidays tour. Hotel itself was very nice but our room was quite small. Not sure if other rooms were similar. Very nice large pool.
Quite a way out of Rome, really needs a shuttle bus. We like to walk and did attempt to return from city centre on foot; after 40 mins we were forced to get taxi when road narrowed and no footpaths available. Did find a spectacular lookout though with sweeping views of the city; don't know why City tours don't take you there.
Good buffet breakfast available, and comfortable bar.

My wife and I stayed here in late June. It is a nice hotel but a little far from the city center making it expensive to get too and I am almost certain that the front desk guy on the day we checked out sold us on a 45 euro cab ride that was overpiced to Ciampino. The other down side is that for the price there should not be an "ironing room". I feel you should have an iron in every room for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast is pretty good although its the exact same daily. Could use a little variety. Other then that its does the job.

The hotel appears as a non-smoking establishment. But in the first room, we find a ashtray and matches and it smell room. We ask to have another room and the receptionist say that all the room are non-smoking room. The second room also has a ashtray and matches but the air was correct. Finally, we find later that some of the room has a specific identification for non-smoking room. We don't appreciate the misrepresentation of the hotel.

I was abit worried when I booked this hotel through secret hotels and read the reviews as they were very mixed, but I was presently surprised the hotel was nice clean and quite, we ate in the hotel restaurant twice which was lovely the food was excellency and reasonably priced, breakfast came in with the price when we booked and was just your normal continental breakfast which was nice and always full with the selection they provided.
The hotel isn't far from the Vatican City it is about 20mintues walk but the hotel with give you a little map of where to get bus tickets and where to catch the bus in to the city when you ask at reception which is about 10mintues once on the bus and once your there you can walk everywhere and take in the sights.

I would stay here again if I was in Rome again couldn't really fault the hotel about from the woman who checked us in was alittle rude but nothing too bad.

Room Tip: We stayed in 457 which was on the road but wasn't loud at night at all

I've never written a negative review, but am afraid that is all I really could do for this hotel. Stayed there in October 2012, and the room was dirty, the service was poor, the front-desk staff were rude. The breakfast buffet was a disaster, with many tour groups trying to get into a small space, to get their meal. No staff person was present to organize the 'direction' the people should move in.

We stayed here while visiting Rome. The rooms are clean and spacious. The daily morning breakfast is very good. It is not in the city, but the Rome is a 30 minute walk and Vatican is about 15. There is a bus station about a 100 mts from the hotel with regular service to the city center as well. Can't find any faults with it.

Found this place through Lastminute.com as a Top Secret Hotel and I cannot find any serious faults with this hotel.

Ok maybe a lick of paint to the furniture wouldn't hurt - but it's an irrelevant detail.

The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The WiFi is strong, very fast and free (writing this review from its very connection!)
Beds are EXTREMELY comfortable.
The breakfast is to die for.
Pool is amazing and always pristine.

... and most important of all ... the AC works a treat! It's a heat wave right now in Rome, and the rooms is always cool and a perfect temperature - irrelevant of the time of day or night.

I have nothing to complain about.

Can't complain about the location either. Just walk down a few metres to the bus stop, take bus 916 and it takes you to all the relevant places in 20 minutes or less. Vatican, St Peter's, Castello Sant'Angelo, Piazza Venezia .. you name it.

Will definitely be my first choice if I ever visit Rome again in the future.
