“A great place to stay...”

Rooms are nice and cosy, colorful (for example our room was pink and green). It's a quiet area close to restaurants, shops, cafes and gelateries. The breakfast was very good underneath a vast chandelier. The staff was very friendly and the reception room was great and comfortable and you could sit as long as you'd like. The only tiny problem was it's location,it's not a very central place as many people would like but other than this it's great...

Stayed there for four days last month with two kids.
Room was spacious, family quadruple on 5th floor. Bathroom was clean, and toiletries were replaced daily. Room overlooked a street, so not a great view, but we were out most days. Beds were again spacious and very comfortable.
Staff went out of their way to help, eg when we realised we had forgotten kids toothbrushes at home!

Our tour guide booked us into this neighborhood hotel. While we found the room comfortable and the breakfast (included with the tour) good, the personal service was not. For example, the window had blinds and the knob to turn to the blinds fell off. We asked the front desk twice to fix it and the response was that not only was it not fixed but we found the knob hidden in the room. On several occasions we tried to get change so that we would have money to pay for bathroom stops and to tip local guides. We were always told to come back later as the hotel didn't have any money on hand (we found that strange and the other hotels we stayed with on the tour all provided change). This was frustrating because sometimes we would have to purchase something just to get change for a bathroom stop during the day.

I will not book this hotel again and would not recommend it unless the rate is much lower than other hotels in Rome.

The hotel in general is quite good.. Although a bit pricey yet negotiable try to get rooms with a balcony (superior room). The big trouble and I don't know how they claim 4 stars is that they don't have a proper good restaurant.. But is not a big problem as really good ones are close by.. It is also in very close very vicinity of villa borghese.. A very good place for just a walk, stroll or a good run...

Location wasn't ideal for me but it's walkable to some deli restaurants. If you walk further and have comfy shoes you will see some shops and gelato places. Since they have narrow streets, we always have to walk about 4 to 5 blocks to get into our tour bus. Crossing the streets in Rome is very very dangerous.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The room is clean and have basic needs. Breakfast is good with the exception of runny scrambled eggs and fruit juices that somewhat appear like mixed with water.

Overall, I recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Albani Roma, though not central, proved to be a good place to stay when we visited Rome in late May. Our double room was clean and serviced regularly - although the bed was a bit firm for our liking. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and several spoke good English. Self-service buffet breakfasts were substantial - cold food included juice, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, meats and cheese, a good variety of rolls, jams - including marmalade - croissants, pastries, muffins and cake. There was also hot bacon and delicious soft scrambled egg every morning - something for everyone to set you up for a day's sight-seeing.
The bus stops and tram stops for a variety of routes were very close to the hotel and a generally frequent service made getting into the centre of Rome or to the Vatican very easy. A five - minute walk and 25 minute bus or tram ride was all that was needed.
It was very easy to shop for packed lunches near the hotel with the staff at the deli counter in the Alimentari on Via Po being able to make you up a sandwich in whatever bread and with whatever filling you chose. Fruit, tomatoes etc were easily obtained at the nearby Carrefour.
The hotel did not serve dinner but there were many varied and interesting restaurants within a very short walk from the hotel - we tried a different one every night.
All in all, a good place to stay - in a quiet suburb of Rome, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre.

This is a decent hotel! The staff were extremely helpful and our room was really quite large! The only downside is the teeny tiny elevators lol. They offered a breakfast with a pretty decent variety for their guests. It was really easy to get around as the bus was just a block away from the hotel. A downside is that the noise from the traffic outside is quite loud... especially super early in the morning (3-4 am). You can also hear conversations from people outside, so I did spend a couple nights sleeping with my pillow over my head.

Other than that, it was a good hotel for the price! :)
