This hotel is far out from activity. It was fine for us, but it was just for one night. We stayed in downtown Rome for the rest of our trip. The shuttles were reliable, although expensive. We sat by the pool while we waited for our room to be cleaned. (A soda at the pool was over $8, just to give you an idea.) When we finally got in our room the AC wouldn't work. We called down THREE times and were told 'a technician was coming'. Finally, after an hour, my husband went downstairs to talk directly to management. He was told 'the technician says he can fix it tomorrow, we were going to call you in a minute'. Ridiculous! We insisted that we get another room. So after 90 minutes of arguing over a very expensive HOT hotel room, we finally settled in for the night. The shuttle arrived on time the next morning. (We skipped out on the breakfast when we realized it would be $120 for us to eat there. No thanks.) A beautiful hotel, but not worth the cost in my opinion.
