“Perfect location”

Literally a 20 second walk from the Pantheon we couldn't have picked a better location to see the main sights of Rome. The reception staff were all very warm and welcoming and happy to assist and a great help when trying to navigate the city. Our room (105) was dated but well maintained and homely. It was spotlessly cleaned every day. Nice sizeable bathroom with fantastic rainfall shower, much appreciated after a long day in the 30+ degree heat. Air con was a blessing. Our room was at the back on the first floor and so no street noise and did not even hear our neighbours. Bed was great. Only downsides to the room was the loo paper of the cheaper napkin variety and the very old wall mounted hair dryer which would take 5 mins to dry a small mouse but still better than having to pack one if travelling with cabin bags only. Breakfast was plentiful with cooked food on request. Fantastic fresh watermelon but other fruit was tinned which was a shame. The small pedestrian road outside is lined with very reasonably priced restaurants. We returned most evenings to the Havana Bar halfway up the street. A little scruffier but it proved a little gem and stayed open until the early hours unlike others nearby and great for people watching if you sit outside. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and good entertainment and certainly look after their repeat customers. We experienced a lot of grumpy and indifferent service during our trip so it was nice to end the evenings with a smile. The Pantheon square itself was buzzing with life every night with some excellent musicians and lots of people milling around enjoying the atmosphere that wasn't present in the other areas we wandered to at night. Would highly recommend.

My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Pantheon. The location is perfect and the staff very welcoming and helpful. It's on a side street a stones throw from the Pantheon and within walking distance to most top attractions. You step out and small shops and restaurants line the street. We overlooked the street but noise was minimal. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was the perfect hotel for a romantic break! Good value, authentic, charming with a yummy breakfast. We went near Christmas and the decorations were so pretty. But the selling point - this hotel is in the BEST location. What a find!

We stayed here 4 nights. What a pleasant experience. After booking our room, we were informed that they offer pick up from the airport. We accepted their pick up. 59 euro no matter how many passengers. Our driver was there even though we were 30 minutes late in arriving. Peter checked us in and took us to our room which had the bathroom up 6 steps. He apologized for the steps, not knowing I am unable to climb steps. We were told our room would be changed the next day. After a more than ample breakfast, our room was changed to the next building with balcony facing the Pantheon. It was noisy, but close the doors and it was quiet. Whoever was at the front desk was always helpful. After 5 trips to Rome, I definitely would go back to this hotel. Our room had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a living room. Ideal for families. Room nicely decorated and clean. If we go back to Rome, we will definitely stay here. Location is very central. The only downside staying in annex, very limited tv channels, no CNN. If you have a handicap, let them know before your arriva

I stayed here in January and found the Staff and room we had and breakfast really good value for money great location.although it was torrential rain for the four days we spent and this did not spoil our trip as there are plenty of indoor museums to go to in Rome and of course there is such a large choice of excellent restaurants.

This hotel is perfectly located round the corner from the Pantheon so that's a great start. You'll find it easy to get to most places from here since Rome is a walkable city.
Rooms are comfortable with all the conveniences & breakfast is included to give you a good start. Ask for Roberto at the front desk who gives good information on where to eat & how to get to the sights. My only peeve is they don't turn on the air conditioning till the end of May. But then you can leave your windows open & this will do the trick.

Great hotel, lovely accommodations and staff, super convenient location. Breakfast was a lovely surprise of just more than bread and pastries; eggs, meats and cheeses plentiful. Our room was on the street which was very noisy from early morning through late evening hours, so I would request a room that wasn't on the street if I went again.

Room Tip: See if anything is available that is not on the street side

The interior of this small but luxurious Rome hotel is well-cared for down to the finest detail, embellished with special, unique details such as the Liberty-style staircase in wrought iron, the wooden-clad walls, the ceilings with old wooden beams, the Roman terracotta floors, the artistic windows and the trompe-l'oeils decorations on the hall walls. The breakfast room is a charming place, thanks to the light of the Carrara marble and the dome ceiling painted with sky-colored trompe-l'oeil. Intimate and friendly, the Hotel Pantheon offers a relaxing stay for its guests, also thinking of their well-being with their range of high quality, personalized services such as ticket booking for shows and exhibitions, guided tours of Rome and the surrounding area, suggestions on itineraries and places that must be seen and the plentiful hot or cold buffet breakfast. ... more   less
