“Great location, reasonable price, value for money!”
Reviewed 22 January 2014

It’s within walking distance to the train station and close to many restaurants. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Room condition is al-right, I really like the blinds on the window, which can create a total blackout. Breakfast is OK, but I was a bit annoyed to find out that you have to ask the waitress if you want any meaty food, as they are either stack away or not refilled. To sum up, it’s a cheap and cheerful place to stay if you want to explore Rome on foot, as we have used it as a base to walk to most attractions like the Colosseum.

This hotel is in a great position, close to the Termini Station (walking distance with luggage) not far the Maria Maggiore Church and a tourist information stand, (very handy for info and for buying transport tickets etc). Plenty of space in our room, all very clean, smelled a little musty, bathroom very nice with a shower over a full sized bath, nice to soak those tired feet in. Our room overlooked the street, so was a little noisy, I loved this - there was someone singing in a restaurant, only added to the ambiance of Rome, but if you need a good quiet nights sleep, you might ask for a room not facing the street. Staff all very nice and spoke English. The breakfast was all you could want, with a delightful breakfast room and outdoor area. We would go and get a takeaway meal some nights and bring it back and eat it in the lovely outdoor area.

Great value on a budget! 24 hour, friendly front office staff that speaks English. Hotel is clean throughout. Rooms are a reasonable size. Ours had a bit of a musty smell upon arrival. Economy bedding. Our room had a mounted television, small refrigerator, a mounted hair dryer, and a beautiful new shower. Free WiFi with limited data is available in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The location is fantastic, close to Termini Station and walking distance from many attractions. Good restaurants in close walking distance. Gelateria S.M. Maggiore its just a block away…open until midnight for those nighttime gelato cravings!!! We would definitely stay here again!

Ended up staying here when the Raffaello, a few blocks away, told us that they ran out of room and would put us up here. Service was efficient and cordial, and the location is fantastic. The rooms are a bit tired, the bed smelled a bit musty, but for the price it's a solid deal. Complimentary breakfast was rather basic but will be certainly appreciated by budget-conscious travelers like myself (we all know how expensive Rome is!).

Overall, a good stay, and recommended for the frugally minded. The biggest drawback was the wifi policy - your first 50MB are free, and after that you need to pay. This might have been permissible a decade ago, perhaps, but now seems a bit ridiculous. If their internet policy joined the second decade of the 21st century, I'd be willing to give them four stars instead of three.

Thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful stay in Rome with the hotel in a perfect location for sightseeing without being too central to be noisy. Lovely restaurants nearby and the hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental Breakfast was pleasant and freshly prepared. Highly recommended hotel for a city break.

Nice hotel room, friendly staff, very good location. Shops and stores on walking distance. You really should take breakfast, the breakfast area is really nice. We had a great weekend in this hotel in Verona. We hope to come back.
