“A must for lunch!”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

We found this cafe through trip advisor once we got tired of high priced eateries with food that didn't match the price. We were so glad we found it, the price for lunch was a steal at €8.00 which included a main, a coca cola or beer and a coffee or tea (which tea alone anywhere in Rome comes in at €4!) I've seen reviews that the food wasn't the best?!? The food is delicious not a massive selection but what they do they do very well! We also ate outside one day at no extra cost (most eating places in Rome charge a lot extra) if your looking for somewhere thats not going to rip you off because your tourist and is great quality food look no further! We ate here twice wish we'd found it sooner will definitely return on our return to Rome! Friendly staff, great food, short walk from Colosseum!

“Nice Little Cafe”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

We are staying in a B&B on this same block. Got panini's from Mokadi the first day we were here which were good but went back for lunch today and it was outstanding. I had the lasagne and my husband had pizza. With the red wine and desert is was not only tasty but a bargain. We will return for dinner tonight. That they spoke English helped a lot to get what we wante.

“Very Good Value Meal”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

We ate here last week at lunchtime- the lady owner spoke to us as we walked past in the sun- eight euros for a drink, main course, and coffee or dessert. The lady was so nice and spoke very good English we tried it- and were very suprised at how good it was. I had a nice margherita pizza, beer, and coffee all for an amazing price.

Very nice food- lovely people, very good price- all in all excellent.

“Good value”
Reviewed 28 October 2013 via mobile

I just ate at the restaurant. For eight euros you get it all, that had already been said. But frankly it is not the most delicious food in town. I give it a four though because of the good service I got today. And of course the price.

“Great local place.”
Reviewed 22 March 2013 via mobile

Forget the high end restaurants. Great local place. Friendly staff. Entrée, drink, dessert or coffee for 8 to 10 euro. Filling but not stuffed. Similar in a restaurant would cost you 8 to 10 just for the entrée
