We stopped off here a few times whilst passing the Trevi Fountain. the food is good and reasonably priced . service was fast . the only downside is the constant barage from the passing street sellers but you do get them everwhere else in central Rome. well worth a visit even just for a drink or snack.

One of the best pizza in the area. Good quality of ingredients that is a rare in Rome.
Sandwiches and cold dishes (pasta salad, spelled, etc.) are good as well. It's crowded during lunch time but it's the best option if you don't want to seat.

Despite the location, unlike most of the roman places to eat which normally make you pay a surplus for their location, this 'forno' is quite affordable and I'd dare say even CHEAP considering both the quality of the food (different kind of pizza, panini) and the amazing fountain right aoutside the entrance.

It is a take away historic bakery where you can find very good pizza and freshly made paninis and great value for money.

If you come to the Roman historic centre you must stop here for a quick and rather affordable lunch!!!

PS=Very few places in Rome don't take advantage of tourists. This one doesn't , and, for this reason, it deserves a top score!!!

Breast had a perfect crunch, prosciutto was tasty, and the cheese was phenomenal!!! Two very big sandwiches for 12 euros. Always bustling with people including locals. Take away and sit by the Trevi Fountain to enjoy.

Thanks to a flight delay we had several extra hours in Rome & were lucky enough to land at cozy L'Antico Forno for a perfect "Last Breakfast." With the gushing waters of the spectacular Trevi Fountain within earshot, we sat at a little round table where we ate gooey thin toasted ham & cheese sandwiches & sipped lattes, which seemed to taste so much better when served in a tall glass with a long handle silver spoon (instead of the usual Starbucks paper cups).

The pastries were enticing & the handsome barista (in white shirt & tie) couldn't have been more charming & accommodating; after only a few minutes it became obvious that the locals feel the same way.
