The Rose Garden Palace is a lovely hotel in a great location just off the Via del Tritone which is a long main artery of the city. The hotel is modern, was comfortable, quiet, very clean and very well furnished. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I ordered breakfast from room service and it was great. I did not have an opportunity to eat in the restaurant II Roseto but I hear the food is excellent. The hotel was right off Via Veneto and Via del Tritone which are main arteries of the city, about a 15-min walk from Trevi Fountain and The Spanish Steps, as well as Villa Borghese which is a stunning park. It's not very close to the Vatican City -- you'll want to take a taxi there from the hotel. Or even better, ride the hop-on-hop-off open bus (cost 13-euros roundtrip without getting off the bus) which is only 5-blocks away from the Rose Garden (across the street from the Eden Hotel) and takes you to see all these sites and many more! The Rose Garden is perfect and enough of the beaten path to be away from the crowds, traffic, noise and hustle and bustle of the city. Small lobby/lounge/bar area but more relaxing that the fancier hotels. My room was lovely with high ceilings and was toward the back of the hotel overlooking the courtyard and the outdoor part of the II Roseta restaurant. I expected noise from diners but it was very quiet. The hotel is only about 5-stories tall so it has a cozy feel to it. I would stay there again the next time I visit Rome.

The Rose Garden Place is a good hotel in a great location. simple with no frills. this is a good hotel if your looking for a good place to stay but dont need any of the amentities of the larger hotel chains, for example, knowledgable concierge etc....the lobby is small, bar is small. we didnt eat at the restaurant but there are many options close by....
we had a junior suite which was nice and offered a bit more space.....

Pros: Friendly staff, good buffet breakfast, large rooms, comfortable bed

Cons: Could use a good scrubing down, bathroom a bit dirty, we called the lobby for towels and never got them, location is ok, unless you can walk all over a taxi might be needed when the feet get tired.

Very decent hotel. Rooms are nice, but nothing special. Good staff and very nice breakfast. Ended up being a very good location in a very nice section of town taht is a bit more quiet.

As I was looking for a decent hotel in Rome, to stay for a conference, I struggle to find something that would be like a boutique hotel but not cost 300€ a night.
I came accross the Rose Garden Palace, that is not what you would call a boutique hotel, but that has a lot of charm and doesn't look like a large chain hotel.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is really good and the location is great for visiting Rome.
Value was, in Rome standards, also a an excellent point.

The hotel is directly across the street from the American Embassy. It's a beautiful part of Rome close to shopping, restaurants, even a mini market to pick up essentials.
The staff was courteous and reinstated my faith in Rome since the horrible experience two years ago at the Mecinate palace.

The hotel is in a great location - nice and quiet and out of the way from all the touristy places.
The service was very good, however there were some language issues when ordering room service. The rooms were nice but a bit old fahsioned looking, there was no wifi access in our room which was really frustrating.

If you are a retired American tourist who does not feel the need for internet access, likes old fashioned decor, old fashioned service (including things like a telephone next to the toilet) and wants words like 'Amercian style' before everything on the menu- then this is the place for you. If you are not American - you may feel a bit like you are intruding on their holiday.
