We too stayed over Christmas and the staff were great - making us feel at home and provided lots of helpful advice. The hotel is so good - smart and spotlessly clean and it was great to use the basement pool to relax in the mornings. While it is a 10minute walk to the Spanish Steps - we love the ramble through the streets - this was our forth stay - and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome.

Room Tip: Great breakfast - and lots of choice

My wife and I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas period in December 2013. It is filled with amenities such as a workout room, a wonderful and helpful staff, laundry, a restaurant, and a very nice breakfast. Wireless is also provided free of charge.

It located across the street from the U.S. Embassy and it is very quiet. I would suggest that you choose a room on this side of the hotel. The location is also great because it is close to the Metro lines and it is easy to jump on and get most anywhere. There are also ATMs in the area which will give you a much better rate on currency exchange than the hotel will.

The breakfast was fantastic. It is plentiful, American style with eggs, juice, meat, and assortment of pastries, great coffee, cereals, and fruit. You can eat a little or a lot. We also ate dinner one night in the hotel and it was good. But I would suggest that you do it once. There are many excellent restaurants in the area and you need to experience this too.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the side of the hotel that faces the U.S. Embassy.

My family and I stayed here for the 2013 Christmas period. We really appreciated this small, but luxurious hotel, away from the busy-ness of a larger establishment. We loved our spacious Junior Suite and the wooden floors. It was refreshing not to be in a carpeted room! The service from the hotel staff was very good. Breakfast was delicious, with enough choices to fill our stomachs before we headed out each day. However, we missed not having tea and coffee in the rooms and an iron and ironing board. Great location, within walking distance or a short taxi ride to all the major attractions. Great advice from the hotel staff on where to eat, what to see and what to do. Staying at this hotel ensured that we had a memorable vacation for all the right reasons. I recommend this hotel is you are looking for a place that exudes friendliness and warmth, in an elegant setting.

Stayed here 2 nights in October, 2013. Corner room overlooking the US Embassy was spacious with a comfy bed and separate seating area. Breakfast was included each morning. Good selection of breakfast items: eggs, sausage, breads, cereal, yogurt, juices, coffee. A bar serves beverages in the evening. Located walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and other attractions, such as the Borghese Gardens. Small, boutique hotel. Excellent, friendly staff. We dropped our luggage off after our morning arrival, and we were ready to tour! Convenient ATM's were located near this hotel as well as several upscale restaurants.

Room Tip: The corner room was perfect!

We stayed in early December 2013 and were not disappointed with this hotel nor its location. Using the local map provided at reception we chose to walk to most of the sights. If you are reasonably fit then it is easily manageable.

The staff were friendly and helpful, though we found the female staff more communicative then the men. Breakfast was great - a range of hot and cold food on offer from 7 until 11 a.m.. The room was nice with excellent air conditioning which kept the room at a comfortable ambient temperature - we set it at 22 degs in the morning and 18 overnight. Like hotel rooms in most European countries the room was not large but it had a fridge, safe and walk in wardrobe. The marble en-suite had a bath with shower over - everything was spotlessly clean.

We followed someone's tip from Tripadvisor and asked for a room at the front of the hotel, looking over the US Embassy. Total peace. The 24 hour armed guards at the Embassy gates directly opposite might have had something to do with that! There are places to eat down every road you took from the hotel, moreso on the Via Veneto which is just a 5 minute walk away.

Unfortunately the leisure pool etc was being refurbished while we there, which was a disappointment, so I can't comment on that. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Front of the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet location anyway but the rooms at front of the hotel are...

A perfectly good place, in a reasonably good location, reasonably good value for money, nice enough room. I certainly couldn't complain but would try something else next time. I was hoping to find something with a little more character.

We stayed here the end of September for our Honeymoon. Rome and the Rose Garden Palace was our first and favorite stop. The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the free daily breakfasts that we took advantage of each morning before we took off for the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers, its in a safe and good location and is definitely tourist friendly. We loved our stay at the Rose Garden Palace and hope to be able to return some day.

Room Tip: I heard the rooms in Italy would be small everywhere but I found this room to be spacious, the bathr...
