This is the best hotel I've stayed in, ANYWHERE!. Staff goes out of their way to be accomadating. Yummy breakfast(included with room), delicious suppers. Room service(no charge for dinners, charge for breakfast)Across the street from the US Embassy, within walking distance of the local metro train system, Pool was a disappointment-it's underground so no view, no sunshine. The front desk people spoke and understood English very well. The others had enough skill, with our italian, to communicate :)

I cannot say enough about this hotel. It is perfectly situated steps from Via Veneto and a 10 minute (down hill!) walk to the Spanish Steps. The staff is incredible, they couldn't do enough for us. They reconfirmed our tours, booked dinner reservations and were really at our disposal for anything. Included breakfast was great...wonderful variety of food to choose from. The rooms were large and beautiful...beds a bit hard but if that's the worst thing a hotel has, then you're in pretty good shape. I would recommend this to anyone going to Rome and I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfecto...molto bene!

Stayed here over Easter weekend with my girlfriend as a long overdue weekend treat and to have a base to explore Rome for the weekend.

In short, the location is fantastic. Central, a 5 min walk to various underground stations, close to the big park if you want to go for a run in the morning and only 15 min walk to the Spanish steps.

You can feel the quality of the hotel in everything that you touch. The rooms are great and we had fantastic sleeps in the luxurious bed and silent room. We tried out the swimming pool and sauna one evening and had it to ourselves which was lovely

Rose Garden is a small and modern boutique hotel in one of the best places of Rome. Situated 2 small blocks from Via Veneto, you are there, on the move, but without its trafic, tourists with guides and crowdness.
They assigned us a nice corner room with great decoration, modern and clean, with a perfect and noiseness Air Conditioning for the hot weather of Rome in July, electrical blockouts, LCD TV, etc. The room also had a walking in closet, parquet floors and a ceiling so high that remembered an old Italian Palazzo. The bathroom was also nice, with a tube, limestone finishes and a bidet, despite a little bit small for the size of room.
The breakfast was also great, served as a buffet in a nice glass terrace up to 11 am, a glory for honey moon travellers
If I would have to register a problem, it would be the complimentary wifi, that had a weak signal at our room. My wife, though, loved it, as I gave up and left to check my emails back home.

Hotel has a great location near the Spanish Steps and Metro. We had a front room accross from the entrance to the U.S. Embasy. The noice from the Security ramp chains and the street traffic forced us to keep the windows shut during the night, despite the comfortable temperatures.

The staff was very helpful with directions and business faxes that I neede to process. Beds were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was efficient. Breakfast was very good, with a selection of cereal, eggs, breads and fruits. The area provides a large park, good restaurants, easy walk to the Metro and other sites.

Make sure that you request a room in the back of this Hotel, away from the street and Embasy noise.

We spent three nights at the Rose Garden Palace recently and it was a great experience. The rooms were large, the staff were great and we even had a great meal in the hotel restaurant out on the courtyard (my son said it was the best pizza of the 15 he tried over two weeks ...).

Rooms were well appointed and quiet. My only (small) complaint was the wireless network was tough to use - but that allowed us to turn off the computers for a few days.

Highly recommended - we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in early June, and had a very pleasant stay. While we were interested in seeing Rome on this trip, our main reason for traveling was for relaxation, so we knew we might be spending a decent amount of time lazing around our room. We chose the hotel because we heard they had "true" king beds, we could have a boutique hotel experience, and we could even use our AAA membership discount.

Upon arriving, we were psyched to see that we had a large top-floor room and a bottle of champagne cooling in a bucket of ice. There was a walk-in closet, a good-sized bathroom, and a couch/sitting area. My partner was even more excited about the fact that we had blackout curtains so that he could sleep in late. I was happy for the robes and slippers (I ended up spending a lot more time in these and in the room than planned, since I got a bad cold on the trip). There was also a flatscreen TV with Sky cable available, but I can't really comment on this since we didn't use it. Throughout our stay, we had zero issues with noise. We're not sure if this was due to good soundproofing, or just that the people in the rooms around us were quiet.

The staff was helpful before and during the stay. Before we arrived, I had been in touch with them via email to ask questions and set up reservations for restaurants and the Borghese Gallery. All of these emails they responded to within a day or two. They were also quite helpful during the stay and friendly, especially if I tried first to chat with them in Italian. Housekeeping was fast and kept everything clean and well-stocked.

We both enjoyed breakfast, which was included with the room. I'll admit that I'm not a big breakfast person, but they had cereal and milk and coffee, and that's enough to make me happy. They also had a selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs (albeit these looked a little orange) and bread.

We also made use of the pool and the fitness center. The pool is nice, but be warned that it's more like a jacuzzi in terms of temperature. The fitness room is decent, one of each kind of equipment piece. Everything seemed to be in working order.

Wifi, although free, was a little difficult to use. It took us a few tries to realize that the password you are given can only be used on one device at a time, so you need to request multiple passwords if you have multiple devices. The wifi itself was very weak. Wasn't a huge issue for us, but could pose an issue for business travelers.

There's a small but handy grocery store right on the side street next to the hotel called "Despar." An affordable option for drinks or snacks. Bring as close to exact change as possible! They often can't change 20 or 50 EUR bills.

And finally, location. Other reviewers have mentioned that it's a bit separated from the main sites of the city, and this is true. Just be forewarned about that before selecting a hotel in this area. We're really fit and love walking, so we ended up trekking to most of the sites, but it was a good 30-40 minutes to the Colosseum/Forum and about 20-30 to the Pantheon (in 90 degree heat ;)). On the upside, the Borghese park is right down the street and a safe place to take a stroll at all hours, and the Spanish Steps are also nearby. We can't comment on how accessible public transit is to the hotel's location, but cabs were easy to get. Restaurant-wise, there are only a few good places in the immediate area (Gina's near the Spanish Steps and San Marcos); for some of the better food, I recommend you head down to the main areas or Travestere. \

In summary...
Pros: Good breakfast, spacious rooms (for the price), comfortable beds, friendly and efficient staff/housekeeping, gym and pool, safe, and blackout curtains!

Cons: Located away from some of the sites, spotty wifi.
