Great breakfast to start the day. rooms were clean, staff friendly, great location. Only concern was the last night we were there we went to bed early. Locked the door securely was woken by a light coming in at 11pm. When we got up the door had been opened. Someone with a master key had entered our room. Maybe they thought last night before check out we were out. When we question the staff on duty we were given all these lies about how maybe the night staffer had checked to see if the doors were locked. LOCKED he opened it with a master key and attempted to enter except I turned the light on.And except we were there I expect we would have had our bags rifled through. Yes it has its advantages but a master key does not help you feel safe. I recommend not just locking with key and latch but put a suitcase up against the door when you are asleep. Also DO NOT leave valuables in your room. If they can use a master key to enter then even the safe they would have access to.
I am not happy with them brushing off the incident. Imagine checking out you have packed your bags night before went out had a lovely dinner only to find after a long flight home that you were robbed.

Oh my God sir....
pleaese.... nobody entered in your room..
we have high security room access control suite and the electronic lock register any possible entrance or door opening.
We have seen the morning after you reported the issue that nobody but you (with our autorized card-key) opened the room and our night receptionist also confirmed that during his usual night check found your door not well closed and just closed it himself. We have already informed you but you don't want to trust... so what else can we say?
Thankyou anyway for your honest report.

Brilliant location, just across the road from Termini and central to most tourist attractions. The room was clean and equipped with everything you'd expect in a 3* hotel apart from tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was very comfortable and we heard no noise on the top floor. Breakfast was good although more should have been done to stop the 'lunch makers' pouncing on the fresh supplies and emptying them!
I agree with other reviews that the communal areas look a bit tired but all in all we had a great stay here.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony

We had been recommended this hotel by our travel agent due to its location but had been sceptical thanks to some previous reviews. We shouldn't have been worried at all. The location was brilliant - so close to the Termini Station and to the start of the Hop On Hop Off tours. It was a nice walk to several restaurants, and even sites such as the Colosseum were a managable walk away. Prior to arriving I had emailed and requested a non-smoking room with a balcony just in the hopes we would get it. We were advised that all the balcony rooms were smoking so we were happy to settle for an inside room. Well, when we arrived we were taking to the very top floor (even the lift doesn't go this high) and were given a massive room with its own private balcony. I'm not sure what was ajoining this room as it was a tad noisy at night but the size, cleanliness, and view was well worth it. Breakfast each morning was fantastic and the staff were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Rome. Thank you.

Room Tip: The very top room is great for size and view, however there was noise all night through the wall. It...

My wife and I stayed here at the beginning of February 2014 on our first trip to Rome - the hotel was comfortable and the rooms are very clean, there were not any tea/coffee making facilities but we had a small fridge and had taken our own kettle - the hotel offers very good value for money and I would stay again, it does not offer 5 Star service nor does it charge 5 Star prices! (certainly not in early February)
The public areas are a little tired and dated - the staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to rail, bus and metro services, if you are looking for a reasonable hotel at a reasonable price to use as a base to explore Rome you should consider the Hotel Rimini

When we first arrived in Rome, we were a little worried!
But...... this place is in a great location and the staff were very friendly.
We had a room on the second floor, which was clean and had a balcony - just a shame it rained most of the time we were there!
Everything you need is in the room, although, maybe a little dated for some English taste, but I thought it was fine for the money and it is their standards, not ours!
The breakfast room was on the top floor, which was a novelty, but it was lovely, bright and the waitresses were all very friendly and smiley and couldn't do enough to help you.
It was a buffet type breakfast, so you can eat as much as you like.... normal continental breakfast, with fresh fruit, croissants, and you can make your own toast etc or have cereal. Cooked is also on offer as are cheeses and hams. All in all a good selection.

I enjoyed my stay here. It is a hop and a skip from the train station, but we didn't experience any noise or problems with the central location at all - and I am a VERY light sleeper!!

I would stay here again - its not the top of the range hotel, but I think its a typical hotel abroad and the staff were splendid.....

A very well run and clean hotel, our room and bathroom were excellent, and a good size. The staff were courteous and helpful, and there was a good variety of food for breakfast of a morning. The hotel is in such a great central location, a minutes walk to the train station, with shopping and post office close by. It was very easy to find our way around, and only a few minutes walk to local Restaurants and buses etc. Also close to a laundrette and internet café. I would happily stay here again.

Just arrived back after first visit to Rome. Stayed in the Hotel Rimini, it was ideally situated near the station and metro, hotel was clean, staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. If we return to Rome we would stay at the Rimini again, as it was definitely a nice hotel, I even got to love going in the lift!
