The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean, the rooms we had ( a double & a twin) were smallish, but adequate.
The lady and gent who appeared to be in charge were very very helpful.
The area it's located in is, on first appearances quite dour, but the restaurants around ok.
If meeting with my children again for a short stay I would possibly go to something with more facilities, don't be put off though because it is ideal for all the sights, trains, buses, taxis except the vatican !!!
Didn't have breakfast, we ate out, only by choice.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room!!

Location is excellent. It s just outside the metro station, 10 minute walk to Termini station and 10-15 walk to Coloseum. There are many nice restaurants in the area. I have seen reviews saying that the area looks a bit scary at night, but i never felt like that! I guess the reason for that may be that its an ethnically diverse area. Therefore you might feel a bit scared if you not used to that kind of a environment, but then most of Rome is like that!
Rooms were very clean. Looks exactly like what s on the hotel website. Chinese woman at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

Lifts did work most of the time, but there were few times we had to climb up. Its an old type lift, so if someone does not close the door, you wont be able to use it from a different floor.
We were on the third floor, so we never had problems with street nosies etc.

I will use this hotel again given its in a good location and rooms are clean and decent and reception was helpful!

Location great, staff friendly, rooms clean. Downside were the rooms, we had booked a triple, and we're given a twin with fold away. Not suitable for a 6 ft 2 adult male. The airconditioning was not working, and we had to request a different room. After 2 nights and when another room became available we were moved from room 208 to room 201. Second room was just fine, cool and correct bedding. Location to the metro was excellent t. Nearby to plenty of local restaurants.

Room Tip: If you want a triple request room 201

We stayed three nights upon arriving in Rome as a stop on our extended vacation. If it had been any longer I don't know that I would have been as satisfied. The room was small but I expected it to be because of the location. I looked at tons of other reviews of this hotel before I booked it and found the assessments to be fair. The room was clean and the beds were a bit hard, but there were extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe. The bathroom was small but clean and the shower was good with plenty of hot water and pressure. The hair dryer was low power compared to in the states and the one i brought refused to work even with the power converter. The free wi-fi was nice and we had no problems logging on. The wall outlets charged all of our apple devices without the need for a converter. The staff is chinese and very friendly. The only complaints I had included the two stories worth of steps to climb because of an elevator that does not hold more than one person plus luggage, the noise in our room (right next to the front desk we heard every other guest, phone call, and buzzer rung during our stay), and the fact that despite it being sold as a no smoking room, the staff would smoke at the window in the stairwell and we could smell it in our room as if someone were smoking right in there with us.

Some tips: We paid for the airport pick up which I am so glad we did. If you are planning to use the train from fumichino and walk from termini be aware that the hotel is hard to find and it is several blocks through questionable neighborhoods. The day we arrived there was a transportation strike and we would have been stuck without the shuttle. It was 50 euro for four people so cheaper than the train for us anyway.

There are a few good restaurants with in a three or four block walk from the hotel. The piazza in front is nice during the day, but not at night. Watch for expensive bar/restaurants who don't post prices then gouge you when you get the bill. We stopped for granita at a little gelato place a block up from the forum and bought four granitas. We were told to take a seat outside and they would be brought out. When my husband went to pay the bill it was 36 euros! We were told to go back to America if we didn't like it.

The metro station is right outside the hotel. If you want a cheep way to get around Rome learn how to buy tickets for and use the public transport. You'll save yourself a lot of walking.
