“Perfect stay”
Reviewed 23 January 2013

We stayed here for five days and it was perfect for us. Our room was large and bright, we had our own bathroom which we were given a key for (it was across the hall). There is a great coffee shop nearby where you can get breakfast. It is near trastevere which has lots of lovely cheaper restaurants with lots of character! It is within walking distance to everywhere in Rome and we didn't get a taxi once. Rome was very fun and easy to get around also.

We stayed here for 3 nights in November towards the end of our month in Italy. It was by far one of the more comfortable places we stayed in while travelling. Lavinnia and Claudio were really helpful and great hosts for the 3 days we were there. Claudio offered lots of great info around buses and tram timetables, even taking us through all of the best locations in Rome. This must get quite tiresome for them, but they always offered it with smiles and enthusiasm. The rooms are really clean and the beds comfortable. The shared bathroom can get a lttle crowded as you need to wait sometimes for the shower. The breakfast was hearty and you did not leave feeling hungry. Each morning thr trio of Lavinnia, Claudio and her mother would show with croissants and fresh cakes. Warning, it can be a little noisy with no carpets in the rooms or hallways and with people coming and going at night, although not a big deal. Great location with only a 5-10minute walk to the edge of the main sights. We walked everywhere from here and there are also some fantastic restaurants in the alleys and laneways nearby as Trastevere has a vibrant restaurant scene.

The Feltre1 is in such a perfect location for Trastevere. Walking distance to many delicious restaurants and cute shops. Valentina is so helpful, she will accommodate you in any way possible. The Feltre1 is such a cute bed and breakfast, so clean and new. I would highly recommend the b&b to any one looking to stay in Roma. It is also just a short train ride form the FCO airport.
