Nice hotel, though a little way out from Rome City Centre. Room was quite spacious with ensuite, very modern, we had a corner terrace balcony which was huge. Continental Breakfast;usual ham, cheese,, cereals and sweet pastries to get you started for the day.
We caught the bus into Rome; bus stop 5 minute walk from the hotel; bus fare 1.50 euro, there are ticket machines on some of the buses that you can buy tickets from, but would need change, you also need to stamp ticket in another machine as it stamps the time; you have 100 minutes...
The bus takes about 20 minutes or so to get into central Rome, which we found ok.
The hotel will give you a map at reception. Beware that a taxi from the nearest station Odiense will cost between 10 and 12 euros; cheaper to catch the bus. The station is adjacent to the metro; very handy. We caught a train from Leonardo airport to Odiense, I had pre booked the tickets online before we went.
I would stay at this hotel again as it was quite reasonably priced, compared to city centre hotels.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 801.

The hotel was very nice, clean and modern! The staff were friendly and very helpful. They do provide breakfast, but it's more continental. We had breakfast 2 or 3 times, but later found a coffee shop around the corner (to your left of hotel-cross street and walk towards the metro, it's the first café on your right) that served excellent coffee for cheap!!! We ordered 2 coffees, one with double shot of espresso for only 1.60 Euros total!!!!
We also found the Metro station to be a bit of a walk, but it did have some nice shops and cafes along the way. The best way to get into old Rome is on the bus, which you caught across the street. Very easy and quick. There is also a grocery store across the street and over to the right.
We found the best authentic Roman restaurant literally across the street from the hotel. Not sure of the name, you will have to ask at the front desk. It's one of those mom and pop restaurants where, when you walk in, everyone stops and looks at you!! ha-ha.... The food was so good!!! We didn't know what we were ordering but we ate it. They don't have menus, because the waiter will tell you what the kitchen has made for the day! Amazing.
Enjoy your stay!!! We did!

The hotel was a very nice place to stay in at a good price. The rooms were big enough and they were cleaning it daily. The bigest inconvenient was the internet, they didnt had free wifi. Too bad cause i really liked the ambiance.

Hotel facilities were great, rooms clean and modern and breakfast really good. Only negative was walking distance from tube station was a good 15-20 mins and we do walk at a reasonable pace. So a good pick as long as you can handle that after a long day walking around Rome. Also we were disappointed to find out that the restaurant was closed on our last night! Luckily we asked if we could book a table and found out then but we hadn't seen any indication that it closed on any night only menus in the lifts advertising special offers.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights from june 14th to 17th. First I will say that you go to this hotel if you want to be in a very good location but knowing that is not in the city center so it won't suit people who want to be right near Trevi or Via Veneto!
The hotel is modern, there is easy parking outside and in a great location to go to the sea side (Ostia) or to Fiumicino airport, which is only 30 minutes driving. The room was a good size, very clean, air con working perfect and well insulated so you couldn't hear any noise. The bathroom was big and had a great powerful shower!! Everything worked and in great condition, the only minus as in loads of italian hotels was that did not have wi-fi, they do have two computers in the ground floor that you can use so is ok but not ideal...
Breakfast was very good with lots of options and good service.
I would recommend this hotel and would come back myself if need to be in that part of Rome.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am very glad that you had a nice stay here at the Caravel.
My staff and I work hard for our guests to spend a relaxing holidays here and feel as if they were at their own home. Thanks, then, because your words are essential for us to move forward in this way always trying to improve and offer you an ever better experience .
I'm very sorry you did not find the wi-fi. The Hotel is entirely covered by wi fi signal and we offer it for free for half an hour every day. Of course you have to ask the Username and Password at the reception. What a pity ! However, if you come back to visit us, do not hesitate to ask for the password at the reception.
Thanks again and we all hope to see you here at the Caravel next time you will come to Rome.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. All staff spoke English. Ideal for business travel but not for city trip. Metro 10 minutes walking distance. A small bar could be nice to have. The rooms were not that much spacious rooms.
