Spent 6 nights and not a single time with a disappointment! Breakfast in the garden (perfect start for the day), gym and spa (perfect for relaxing), diner on the garden (so romantic) .. A paradise in the stressfull touristy Rome ! Room perfectly cleaned and maintained, top quality service. ... A little bit expensive but worth it for unforgettable vacations.

In less than a year it has been my third visit to The Russie. The most recent one: 5 nights at the end of July. The location is special just off Piazza del Popolo. If you fancy to walk for long hours, avoid traffic jams, taxis and etc...this is the right spot to be! What makes the hotel even more special is the feeling you have there of being far way from the civilization. The gardens, the courtyards, the vases of flowers, the fountains, the lounges make the Russie a unique experience in Rome. You go out for all the hot spots in town and return in the afternoon for a drink at the outdoor bar... And you are brand new to go out again for dinner! Staff is always smiling and saying "Prego!", "arrivederci", "grazie mille"... And guys at the concierge have great tips for restaurants, bars and tickets to avoid queues at the Vaticano, Coliseo and Galleria Borghese. My many thanks to Giorgia Tozzi and all friends I have made at the Russie.
Arrivederci!

Room Tip: Best rooms in my opinion are facing the courtyard and the gardens of Villa Borghese. They are more q...

A week spent here, in the heat of August in Rome, has been truly splendid.
Attentive staff, but not obtrusive, have made our stay delightful.
Fabulous restaurant & terrace.
Really enjoyed the gym & spa facilities.
...& the garden...gorgeous!!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for a special, memorable trip to Rome.

Room Tip: Our room was a deluxe double on the third floor...perfect.

We stayed at Hotel De Russie for the last two nights of our holiday and we were very happy with the room. We had stayed in other parts of Rome and chose this area for a different experience of the city.
The room was a good size and very nice, though not quite as I expected had from the photos on the web page. The restaurant area for breakfast, and the included in the deal dinner was beautiful. Either inside or in the garden.
We found the reception, doormen and waiters to be very attentive and helpful with our requests.

Just stayed three fab nights at Hotel. Gorgeous hotel in a great location with a beautiful garden. Staff we're incredibly attentive and even supplied special kids slippers and dressing gowns for our kids. We'd definitely go back again. One gripe cost of parking was outrageous €175 for three days!!

Ten glorious days in Rome while installing an art exhibit and this hotel made it worth it! The terrace serves wonderful breakfast with staff so attentive by the second day they knew exactly how I took my coffee. The rooms are very nicely appointed with no over the top luxuries. Nice beautiful natural flower arrangements greet you in the lobby as well as the most helpful staff.
The terrace turns really lively for before dinner drinks with lots of beautiful people and the best cocktails in all of Rome! You do feel like it is your own private oasis in the heart of the fantastic energy and sights of Rome. I was there in the Spring and there were green parrots on the palm trees of the terrace and gardens, just amazing. I would not stay anywhere else in Rome now. One gets used quickly to this kind of hotel and staff. Great boutiques too.

Room Tip: Rooms on a higher floor and overlooking the gardens are glorious.

We stayed at the hotel the first week of July. We enjoyed at great breakfast each morning out on the terrace. We utilized the car service to drive to a few of the historic ares we had not visited before. The driver also made some wonderful suggestions. We swam in the pool and walked the gardens behind the hotel.
The rooms were clean and bright. The location for us is perfect. The staff friendly and helpful.
