“Very nice hotel with excellent service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014 via mobile

My son and I stayed there during Easter vacation 2014.The staff was extremely helpful and polite-and even though it was a high season due to Easter, they arranged an early check in for us -8am-so we could rest after a red eye flight. The rooms were quiet, spacious, bright and very clean. The service was excellent-as soon as we asked for water or coffee after 2-3min we had it in our room. The only thing that could be improved is breakfast which lacked omellette and bacon-which we had to pay extra to have. Also ,since I had a small problem walking, I found the location of the hotel a bit far away from the main center of Rome ,so we had to take a taxi back and forth. And taxis cost a lot in Rome!Overall it was a very good choice -value for money.

Very peaceful neighbourhood, no worries about trafic noise, bars etc. Good breakfast, polite service, clean and well equipped rooms, everything works and is in good condition. Only minus comes from a bit far location from the main attractions, but I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Room Tip: 6th floor rooms are spacious.

Although we booked in a package deal including the flight we were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the hotel. The room are great with spacious excellent beds. A very friendly and helpful staff. They serve a nice breakfast.
The surrounding is nice and quite at night. 10 minutes from the metro to get anywhere in Rome.

This is a good hotel which is close to the Termini rail station and not too far to walk from the historic centre. The double room was fine and reasonably spacious, though the ventilation didn't work in the bathroom. A good continental breakfast but no tea and coffee-making kit in the room. Avoid the bar downstairs - it has as much atmosphere as the Catacombs and the price of the spirits was extortionate (a G&T was about 10 euros !). Very helpful staff on the front desk.

Excellent hotel, which I always use when I visit Rome. I was given a mini suite with sofa and seating area, a separate bedroom and separate bathroom. Excellent service at Reception. The wifi worked seamlessly in the room. Marble everywhere in the bathroom and in Reception. Altogether a very happy experience.

This was our first trip to Rome and somehow we were able to select a hotel that offered good value for money. The rooms were clean and very spacious however the decor a bit old-fashioned. The staff was friendly and we got everything we asked for. The location is good, the area is nice and it is quiet during the night. There are also good restaurants nearby of which I would like to recommend Osteria 44 where they also spoke very good English. I was surprised that the city center of Rome was so small and that it took less than an hour to walk from Vatican to the hotel which was the longest route we had to take to see all the main attractions during our stay. The only criticism I would like to give is that breakfast eggs were cold and looked like they were cooked yesterday.

Room Tip: This is related to Rome in general; taxis are relatively inexpensive and that if you visit Colosseum...

This is the second time I stay to this hotel and again, it was extremely well. The room was big, the matrimonial bed huge, clean and nice staff. The location is very interesting, close to Porta Pia in a quiet area, but relatively close to Termini railway station, Qurinale Palace or Via Veneto. Therefore plenty of places to see in a walking distance. And not only to see, but also to eat because there are a lot of cosy and tasty restaurants. Given that we were in February, therefore out of pick season, the price was extremely attractive i.e. 80 euro/single or 100/double. Usually this hotel is much more expensive. The only thing they should improve is the breakfast i.e. bring some vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, etc) and plain yogurt (not everyone likes the sweet taste).

Room Tip: Good rates at this hotel could be obtained out of season like January, February or November.
