I booked this room the day prior to arrival and wanted something inexpensive and close to the train station. This hotel is exactly that.
The room I had was very small, with a twin bed and barely enough room to turn around, but I didn't mind. I was in Rome! It had a shower and somewhere to rest, so I was happy.
They do have free Wifi, but reception is spotty.
The breakfast provided is good, but even though the rooftop seating is appealing, don't do it. Pigeons in Rome are out of control. They'll stalk your food (they stole my croissant and knocked over my coffee when I went inside to get something) and annoy you.
The staff was great and very accommodating.
Overall a decent stay for a traveler on a budget.

I had a nice stay in this hotel. The room was clear and confortable. The location is really close to transportation. At the reception kindness. The service was generally of good quality. I suggest this hotel

Hotel is close to train station and restaurants. Room was small, had to leave water running a long time until it got hot, shower leaked, rubbish bin was not emptied once during 4 night stay, hair of previous room occupant was on the floor in the bathroom, TV kept turning itself off and Wifi signal was mediocre. Breakfast on roof terrace was ok but staff took too long to clear tables - to the delight of pigeons (and the occasional seagull) who were helping themselves to left overs

Ignore the bad reviews on here - there's little to fault about the Torino.

Room (6th floor) was clean and well presented. Air con works fine and mini-bar prices reasonable. Room is cleaned to a good standard every day.

Breakfast is great and caters for a wide range of tastes, and the roof terrace is terrific. However, avoid the coffee from the urn (ghastly) and ask the waiter for a cappuccino (great).

Reception staff are very welcoming and helpful, wi-fi is fine, and public areas are of a very good standard.

I regularly stay in London hotels and would expect to pay 3x the price for this standard.

We hadn't read much good about this place after we had booked, but we were pleasantly surprised. We were a family of 4 and booked 2 rooms on the 5th floor for 7 nights. The location is great and within walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. They cleaned the bathroom every day and changed the towels etc. The cleaning staff could not speak english but they were very nice. The WiFi worked okay on the 5th floor although it was not very fast. Remember you have to pay City Taxes when you leave 3 EUR per person for every night. Excellent breakfast on the roof top; remember to ask the waiter for an expresso or cappuccino ... the "Americano" coffee is terrible. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room below the 6th floor as the roof top restaurant is just above the 6th floor and can be...

Booked through Expedia double room for three. No problems. Pretty large, lean rooms. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Overall very positive experience. Location convenient to trains, most of attractions are in walking distance.

I was glad that when we arrived at the Hotel Torino we discovered it was actually a very nice area. I had been told that it wasn't & there wasn't easy access to sites. We took the hop on/off bus & it was very convenient, several stops were right near our hotel. Very clean, breakfast nicely done. Would most definitely stay there again.
