When we arrived, we were overwhelmed by how beautiful this hotel was!!
When checking in, the reception staff were very helpful...explaining where our rooms were and where breakfast would be in the morning. We took the lift up to our room to find marble flooring all the way to our door!!
Inside we had two single beds, two bedside tables, a wardrobe with a full length mirror (tinted), a television, a dressing table and a fridge!!
In the bathroom we had a small bath with a shower over the top, a sink, toilet and bidet.
We were given plenty of fresh towels...large, small, tiny and bath mats!! However, our room stunk of smoke (despite it being a non-smoking room)!!
We mentioned this to reception purely because we didn't want to get the blame, at this point after travelling, we were too tired to move rooms.
In the morning we went down for breakfast which was between 7 and 10am.
Continental would be a generous explanation!! There is literally bread!!
You have the choice of sliced, rolls or croissants!! There is butter and jam to accompany them, but that's pretty much it!! There was some rice crackers??! And some corn flakes but all in all, quite disappointing!!
There is a coffee machine and a selection of juices, but after the first morning, we didn't bother again!!
Every time we went to reception to order a taxi or to ask for information, they were always very helpful!!
The cleaners were lovely, we had clean towels, toilet rolls, soaps and shampoos daily!!
Generally the room was quite cold, and if you walk around bare foot...you get dirty feet!! So bring socks/slippers with you!!
The lighting in the room is very bad, the bathroom is the only place you can really apply make up which makes it difficult when the nest person is in the shower and it get steamed up.
You also can't use the mirror in the bedroom because it's tinted and with the bad lighting you have no chance!!
If you stay in this hotel bring a mirror with you!!

The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. Although the room was on the small size, it was clean and suited us. The nearest metro station is about a 10 minute walk away, downhill, so not too inconvenient. There is a lovely little bistro/pizzeria directly opposite which is very handy.

Was booked as a package through ba.com but suggest spending a bit more...

LOCATION; whilst quite convenient in daylight it is a bit of a pain at night. Also only 1 restaurant nearby, and whilst that is nice it is not cheap. Apparently a few places to the west; but be warned.. the hotel is atop of a very steep hill

ROOM: On a positive note; the aircon works well and the mattress was very firm. However the bathroom was a wet room but the shower was at best a trickle

BREAKFAST: As noted on other reviews the choice is limited and does not change

FACILITIES: Whilst the roof top terrace is pleasant and the bar very reasonably priced; if the weather is poor then it is closed, If that happens and the 2 vending machines on the lower ground floor are not working - as was the case this past week - then you have no where to buy even water

Room tip: book elsewhere

Well my son booked this from BA so didn't check the reviews. Good points are rooms clean and clean towels daily.
Bad points 15 minute walk to local metro so walked 70 miles in a week.
Bar was not aways open when it said it was but nice bar guy.
Breakfast forgot it just sweet cakes
Shower door broken told receptionist still broken when we left.
Rooms are very small

Don't recommend anyone. Very pure conditions, everything is pretty old. Breakfast is the same every day, no fruits and only tomatoes, instant coffe:( pretty far from the center.
A good pizza not far from the place, down of the street, not cafe, just take away.
