“A perfect jewel in a great location!”
Reviewed 8 November 2012

This small hotel is in a wonderful location between the Piazza da Spagna and the Piazzi dei Popolo. The rooms are nice, the tubs large enough to soak, and the televisions work. There was a sweet terrace outside the room, perfect for reading the morning paper. The wi-fi was accessable both in the lobby and th roof deck.

The concierges both morning and evening could not hve been more helpful. Their suggestions for restaurants and a hairdresser were spot on. It seemed as though they really cared. As a woman traveling alone, I could not have felt more safe. The Via Babuino is one of the nicest shopping streets with Tiffany on one end and Leger nearby. There wre wonderful spots to stop and have a coffee or granita. The Museum Todolini was a popular coffee stop for Romans in the afternoon.

Room Tip: There is an extra charge for a room with a bathtub.

This hotel is great!
Asked our work travel agents to move me here after seeing that the Westin wanted to charge €455 a night. Found this one on Trip Advisor and it's really good.
It's quiet, rooms are clean (better than the Westin in Milan the previous week which had the previous occupants food in the fridge still!!!), it's close to all the main tourists sites and a buffet
breakfast is included.
I had the standard double and it is small (but perfectly formed). Bed was lovely - very comfortable. Would suggest that maybe people opted for the superior doubles if there are two of you.
Only reason i didn't give it an 'excellent' was that there were tiny issues (marks on curtains, slighty damaged walls, bathroom needs a magnifying mirror due to the fact that the sink sticks out so far that you can't check your make-up properly (it's a girl thing!) BUT apart from that - it's really good and my definate new home when in Rome.

Lovely hotel centrally located half a block from the Piazzao de Popolo. Easy walk to the Borghese Gallery, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Stayed here with my husband and other friends and family. We had three rooms and each one was unique and different. Room was clean, air conditioning worked, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room included a simple European style breakfast. Small old-style hotel. Would highly recommend. Really enjoyed our stay.

Loved this small traditional hotel. Stayed here with siblings, friends and daughter at the beginning of August 2012. Could get anywhere in Rome either by walking or by taxi at the very close taxi stand in Piazza di Popolo. Rooms were wonderful and clean. Good air conditioning! Loved the simple European breakfasts with meat and cheese!

The service was wonderful and received several great restaurant recomendations and they also made reservations as we were a large group.

Negroni's and wine on the upstairs terrace before dinner is a must!

Made the Rome visit that much better and welcoming!

If you want a causy, user friendly hotel with a very nice staff, along with a great location (shopping & walking) in the Eternal City, this IS your hotel. Just in front of the famed Hotel de Russie, you have the same location at a tenth of the price. The rooms are clean - not too big, but not too small. The breakfast is ok. There is a little patio is good weather and a very nice terrace overlooking the Roman rooftops and the Pincio gardens. Really nice

Room Tip: Try to have a room on the last floors.

The customer service was ouststanding, they are more than happy to answer any question and help in anyway they can. The breakfasts were very good. The location of the hotel is central for walks to the forum, Vatican City and within minutes from the Spanish Steps. The garden terrace is beautiful. I would not hesitate stopping there again if ever in Rome again!

This hotel is very well located. The staff was very helpful. Don't expect a contemporary hotel. You are in a old building, the rooms are small, the bathroom is even smaller... I could almost not fit in the shower...but I liked it. It clean, it well located, it's well priced, what else could you ask. Oh! The terrass on top of the building is amazing !
